Chapter 192: Pathetic

"What? The four of you will go alone?" Blac had asked in surprise when Azaroth made the decision. He looked at him as if he’s out of his mind. He knew they are powerful but not that much!

"Please reconsider." Blac pleaded because he’s tied his fate with them, if anything happens then it’ll be his head on the ground.

Stallus had shook her head and jumped down lightly. "Don’t worry. It’ll be easier with just us alone here. The wall will make it difficult for you guys to do much and we need you to keep the warriors in line in our absence."

Now, Blac watched them as they made their way towards the wall and his gut tightened. He was thinking of how to escape if they indeed fall to the Oakhaven

On their way to the wall, Alex glanced at the wall with darkened eyes. "I don’t think our skills can break that unless the use the power of the Acolyte."

Catena snorted and yawned. "We just need to be above and behind the wall right. Honestly I just want a good sleep."

Alex glanced at the sleepy tall guy. "Maybe you’ll see some kind of food you’ve not eaten before on the other side."

Stallus also butt in. "We should save as much food and practical things from this place before we return to the proper Crypt training. Maybe some bed and real cooking stuff and of course food! Catena will be able to cook us good foods."

Alex nodded. "Yes, who know where that Crypt Master will send us to next? Make some barren place without food or water!"

Unfortunately it’s something they know could happen.

They are getting closer and closer the wall and can now see the people atop the wall clearly and heard their laughter. Azaroth stopped at a place where he’s sure their arrows won’t reach. "We should focus on eliminating the Village head and his Initiate warriors. The rest won’t put up much of a fight after that."

They nodded and looked at the Village head shouting. "Ya! I thought maybe something good is finally about to happen because what is this? Are you joking with me by bringing children to my wall!"

Azaroth shifted and brought out a spear from the ring on his neck without showing the spatial space ring. "We should start with him. He’s yapping too much."

Azaroth lined the spear upward and put his right hand at the bottom while he supported the body with his left. ’Ember strike."

An ignition of shockwave and small intense fire blasted the spear away with inhumane force. It blurred so faster it was immediately in front of the village head and pow! The spear reduced the man to a human with a bloody stump neck.

Silence fell among the Oakhaven warriors. They couldn’t believe what just happened. One minute the spear was there and now it’s blasted their village head off.

They felt fear then when they glanced down at the teenagers. Their hands shook on their bows and that fear made them let go and fired the arrows.

"Here we go!" Alex shouted and began to run forward with the others, weaving their way through the rain of arrows. Sometime they just danced among the arrows or maybe slapped it away from their path.

But now they’ve reached the wall and they leaped with all their essence channeled to their legs. It carried them up and over the wall until they’re standing atop it.

One Oakhaven warrior panicked and run at them with her weapon raised, yelling atop her voice but a silver light flashed and her body, from the top of her chest was hacked away.

Azaroth sword dripped blood as he crouched on the edge of the wall with his red eyes looking at the group of novice warriors. The essence pressure that rolled off him and others made the warriors took hurried steps back. "Leave them, they’ll only get in our way. Let us focus on the Initiate. They should be here now that their leader is dead."

"Ryaaaaaaaahhhh!" One warrior shouted and his big balk easily shove other warriors out of the way. He’s big and the armour he wore couldn’t cover his whole body, his face was made ugly by the anger that turned it.

The warrior is an Initiate hiding among the novice warriors and Catena rose to meet him. Azaroth looked away from their fight and scanned the group for any other Initiate there but there was none so he jumped over into the town.

The others scattered as well to look for who to fight and kill.

All the building in this village are made of thick wood and right now most of it are empty as the villagers with house close to the gate already evacuated.

Azaroth hadn’t taken more than a few steps when he suddenly looked up to his right and there’s a woman standing there glaring at him.

"I can’t believe you actually breached the wall! Then it means the village head is dead. But know this is as far as you’ll go!" She jumped down and ran at him.

Azaroth felt pity for her. Not because she’s going to die but because as Initiate she never actually live up to the name since she has never been strong.

The woman’s hands glowed white as the covered the distance between them in leaps. She brought down her hand in a chop and Azaroth avoided it by inches. She frowned and sent out a kick but the same thing happened. freewebnσvel.cøm

"You this rat! Stay in one place!" She gritted out and picked up the speed of her chops and punches but Azaroth just continue to avoid everything by inches.

The woman got angry and began to fight as if she’s mad, now just doing everything to land a hit.

Suddenly Azaroth sighed and lifted his sword straight up, thrusting through her ribs straight to her heart. He looked at the lifeless body with a cold eyes. "Pathetic."
