Chapter 412: Going home
The fourth item Elion chose was not exactly for himself; rather, he chose it for a certain beautiful blonde-haired princess.
The pedestal simply read:
[Mythical Grade Mobile Workbench]
At first glance, the item looked nothing like what Elion imagined a workbench should be. Instead of some large table covered in tools, it appeared as a simple, sleek, square black plate, thin enough to hold in one hand.
Elion stared at it for a moment as he read the description.
[Mythical Grade Mobile Workbench]
[Grade: Mythical]
[Description: A portable crafting station designed for high-level craftsmen, enchanters, alchemists, formation masters, and artifact refiners. Once activated, it unfolds into a complete adaptive workshop suited to the user’s profession. Includes self-cleaning arrays, material stabilisation fields, precision mana-control assistance, formation-guiding functions, heat regulation, automatic tool adjustment, and spatial storage for crafting materials.]
Elion blinked.
He did not know much about crafting. In fact, he knew almost nothing about it. But even he could understand that, somewhere and somehow, workbenches were clearly very important to crafters.
The listed enchantments sounded impressive enough, though he could not fully judge whether they were truly amazing or merely standard for treasures of this grade.
Still, it was Mythical Grade. That alone was enough for him to covet it; these enchantments couldn’t be as simple as the description claimed. Besides, this was not really about him.
He thought of Isla.
His lovely new blonde princess had already crafted a necklace for him, and Elion had no doubt that she would not stop there. If crafting was something she genuinely loved, then giving her a treasure that could help her pursue that passion seemed more than worthwhile.
A faint smile touched his lips. In the end, he was not only collecting things to make himself stronger. Some treasures were better in the hands of the people beside him.
And if Isla could use this workbench to create even more remarkable items in the future, then perhaps this reward would benefit him as well.
That made the choice even easier. Elion reached out and claimed the sleek black plate, and it vanished into his storage a moment later.
"Hopefully, she likes it," he muttered.
Without wasting much more time, he turned and moved toward the next pedestal. The next item Elion had shortlisted was rather unorthodox, even by his standards.
It was a ring called Heavenly Petal. The name was fitting enough.
The ring did not look like ordinary jewellery. Its entire band resembled a single circular amethyst petal folded delicately around itself, smooth and translucent, with faint veins of purple light running through it like living mana.
It was beautiful, almost impossibly so. But Elion did not choose it simply because of its appearance. Of course not.
He chose it for the enchantments.
[Heavenly Petal]
[Grade: Divine Artifact]
The fact that it was a divine-grade artifact was shocking enough, and it had to be the only one he could see in sight, but that was understandable, given the kind of specs he was looking at.
[Description: A protective spatial ring forged from Heavenly Amethyst Crystal and folded with petal-shaped spatial arrays. Contains a high-capacity embedded mana storage core, an independent inner space measuring one hundred metres by one hundred metres capable of holding living beings, and a mana-powered defensive shield capable of withstanding attacks from Saint-class Mages for as long as the stored mana remains sufficient.]
Elion read the description once. There were only three enchantments, which were all simple in principle.
Mana storage, a living storage space and a form of protection. And yet, even Elion could tell that this thing was overpowered.
He did not know exactly how much mana the embedded core could store, so he could not estimate how many attacks from a Saint Mage the shield could withstand. But the fact that it could withstand such attacks at all was already absurd.
Then there was the inner space. One hundred metres by one hundred metres, and it could contain living beings. That alone made the ring priceless.
Elion still did not know the exact limits of his system storage, since he had yet to run into any restrictions, but that did not make this ring any less valuable. A separate space that someone else could use, especially one tied to such a beautiful piece of jewellery, was the sort of treasure most people would never even see in their lifetime.
A slow smile spread across his face.
"I think Celeste would like this." Once again, he didn’t choose this one for himself either. In truth, the ring could also serve as an engagement ring.
It was already beautiful enough for that. Perhaps even the most beautiful piece of jewellery Elion had ever seen. More importantly, it would put his mind at ease to know that Celeste would be protected while she wore the ring.
The world of Mages was cruel, unpredictable, and filled with people who would not hesitate to use loved ones as weaknesses if given the chance. Elion knew that very well. He would rather not take any chances when it came to her and the child’s safety.
If this ring could protect her even once at the right moment, then it would be worth the selection.
Just thinking about Celeste made him feel restless. A faint sense of urgency stirred inside him, making him want to rush through the rest of this process and return to his world as quickly as possible.
He reached out and claimed the Heavenly Petal. Despite the fact that it looked like an actual petal, it actually felt metallic in his touch. The amethyst ring rotated in his hand as he inspected it for a bit before vanishing into his storage.
Elion looked toward the next pedestal and moved on.
...
By the end of the reward selection process, Elion felt quite satisfied with his haul.
His only complaint was that he was still completely naked, but even that embarrassment had been thoroughly overshadowed by everything else he had gained.
[Reward Selection Complete.]
[Primordial Bloodline Trials Have Concluded.]
[All Rewards Have Been Successfully Bound to the Aspirant.]
[Congratulations, Elion Nova.]
[You Have Cleared the Trial Sequence.]

Elion lowered his gaze to his hands and simply looked at them for a few moments. A slow smile appeared on his face. freewebnovёl.ƈom
’I guess it is finally time to go home.’
A strange sense of excitement washed over him.
Part of him could hardly believe that it was finally over. After everything that had happened, after all the battles, memories, pain, gains, and strange encounters, he could finally return.
A lot had changed during this journey. He had become far stronger than when he first entered the trials.
He had consolidated his thoughts.
He had found new companions.
He had claimed treasures that could shake the world. And most importantly, once again, he had survived a few impossible situations against all odds.
Elion released a deep sigh. His body began breaking apart into countless motes of light.
The chamber vanished, and so did the remaining treasures. The endless white space faded into nothing. A few seconds later, Elion’s naked body disappeared into the light.
