Chapter 1975: Part 2: The Return Trip

Skycrest Kingdom

Several days later,

I reached the border. The other side was the Skycrest Kingdom. I bribed the border guard before crossing the border.

After entering the Skycrest Kingdom, I started thinking about the sea journey. I had used the ship of the Montex Shipping Company before.

This time I needed to find another shipping company.

I began to look for a transport company in the city. The border city vibe was different. The sky was darker. Dark clouds covered the sky.

There was a heavy downpour of rain. The vibe was eerie and dark. It didn’t take long for me to find a transport company. They offered airship services as well.

But the destination differed. Not many airships went towards the sea border. He asked the manager of the company.

The manager of the company was a middle-aged man. He was a Supreme Wizard. When I made the request, he began to assess me from top to bottom.

The middle-aged man was surprised. He had never seen such a young Supreme Wizard before. He thought the young man must be from a certain force.

"Could it be Capital?" the manager thought.

The person was wearing a mask, so he couldn’t see through the mask. He decided to help the masked man.

"We don’t have any passenger aircraft going to the seaside border city. But we do have one good airship which is going to leave for the city border," the manager said.

"It’s okay. I’ll manage," I replied.

"Then let’s make the deal," the manager said.

A day later,

The goods airship left the border city. It carried loads of goods on the deck. They were arranged one above another.

The workers were watching over the goods. Only a few guards from the company were here. My presence drew curious glances.

But the manager had made it clear to them, so no one troubled him.

Days Passed

The goods airship belonged to a famous shipping company, so no one caused problems. He found a rare time of peace. So, he fully focused on the return journey.

His stats progressed faster. From time to time, he could spot the skycrock monsters in the skies. Someone was riding the monsters.

A couple of days later,

The goods airship reached the border city. When the airship landed on the ground, someone came to remind me.

I walked out and thanked the person before exiting the airship. Once I left the company there, my attention turned towards the sea ship company.

I needed to find one similar to the Montex Shipping Company, or I needed to board one. If I could get a chance to board the ship of the Blue Falls City, it would be good.

Then I found a carriage to take me to the sea border. It didn’t take long for me to reach the place. When we got there, I paid the fees to the carriage owner.

Then I stepped out and followed the crowd towards the port. The wizards clad in armor were doing the inspection. They were not asking anyone from this side of the border.

Everyone was allowed to reach the seashore. I followed the crowd and moved towards the dock area. I could see many ships at the dock.

I saw goods being loaded into one of the ships. I arrived in front of the ship and began to assess it. Compared to other ships docked here, this ship was large and its defense was better.

I could feel the aura of Magic Lords and a Forbidden Wizard in the ship. This time I wanted to travel without hiding. Last time, it was a tough situation. I was forced to hide at the top of the anchor.

My presence drew attention. The workers looked at me. I boarded the ship. The workers stood up. A slightly obese, middle-aged man walked out from the office.

He came to see me directly.

"Who are you?"

"What do you want?" he asked.

"I need to go to the Blue Falls City," I replied.

Hearing that, everyone was surprised. Then they realized it must be someone left behind. Then they shook their heads before resuming their work.

The smile on the middle-aged man’s face broadened. So, it’s one of our own.

"Come inside, we can sit and talk," he said.

Then we entered the office room. I felt the probing of the Magic Lords and the Forbidden Wizard. I had already dropped the shield. They could see through my strength.

So, I ignored their probing. Inside the office, we sat down opposite each other.

"Tell me, how did you end up here?" he asked.

"I was left behind by the Montex Shipping Company," I replied.

"Montex Shipping Company," the middle-aged man uttered.

The doubt in his mind disappeared. He became much more relaxed.

"You can come with us. But it’s not going to be free," the middle-aged man said.

"Well, I can compensate after reaching the city. I’m close to the Patrick Family there." After saying that, I showed the family token given by Sam Patrick.

The middle-aged man accepted the token and verified it. It was not fake. He recognized the family symbol as well. He then looked at the masked man.

He decided to ask the Forbidden Wizard.

"Give me a few minutes." After saying that, he left the office room.

Seeing that, I nodded to him. I was sure he was going to get the token verified.

The middle-aged man went to the secret cabin. He requested an audience with the Forbidden Wizard.

"Come in."

A voice sounded from the inside.

The next second, the door opened automatically.

He walked inside and saw the old man sitting cross-legged on a mat. The old man in his sixties opened his eyes.

He saw the manager and asked, "Is there any problem with the Masked Man?"

Hearing that, the middle-aged man began to tell him. Then he showed the token. The old man saw the token and recognized it.

"It’s real. Since he is a V.I.P. of the Patrick Family, don’t charge him," he said.

The manager nodded his head and took the token before leaving the room. freeweɓnøvel.com

The old man closed his eyes.
