Chapter 84: Chapter 84: First one’s up
After he collapsed. Solomon returned him to the realm where he would continue training.
Zach still continued facing monsters. He just wasn’t fighting them on earth.
Solomon would compress a rift he would find on earth and then decompress it in he’s own dimensions. This way Zach could still level up.
Whatever this was it was only delaying the inevitable.
Fate had deemed it so and that’s how things would go.
He would continue slaying the monsters and finally he would reach the required limits to surpass tier 1 and use the tier 2 abilities.
He had surpassed the hundred thousand reword points required by the system for tier 2 to be unlocked.
This only happened che to the fact that he took on an A rank rift with all its monsters on he’s own.
He barely managed but he was successful.
-
Solomon would leave Zach at this point. He told Zach he was being summoned.
There was truth to this but it wasn’t all truth.
Solomon just knew the time for dreams was over.
Fate had taken control and it would not leave the wheels anytime soon.
Solomon teleported out of he’s own dimension and so did Zach.
They just didn’t teleport to the same place.
Zach didn’t find himself on earth.
He was in some other realm.
This is a rift isn’t it. I’m in another dimension.
Why though. This isn’t the next tax. This isn’t what I should be doing to clear the next tier.
Zach was confused.
I’ll trust Solomon. He said.
He wondered this new land. This one was desolate. Not a life in sight.
It looked like a civilization had once lived there. The buildings and thorn of trees made that very apparent.
The civilizations just fell.
Zach noticed the sky was blue much like our own.
It wasn’t just blue however. It had a tint of pink. The very color that best described the rifts and they’re activities.
This is some kind of alternate earth. Zach noted.
I’m guessing this guy’s weren’t so lucky. They must have not survived the apocalypse. Zach thought.
I wonder which of the apocalypses got them first.
He didn’t know the proper term. He wasn’t in loop unlike the others. This apocalypse referred to the divergence.
He was alone here but he resolved to find the old staff.
-
Back on earth, various mage teams make their way into rifts.
This was a first of its time occurrence. Usually the only mages who were allowed into the rifts were those of the circle of Merlin. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
This was a law multiple circles were willing to break on the order of one man.
Professor Fate. This, he was the fourth and final emergence or technically he was the first of this Convergence.
He told most of the top circles of the divergence.
The apocalypse was coming. The world ender.
This was going to be much different from the two before he said.
He was very dramatic but he proved himself, not with power but with knowledge. The only one of the top circles not approached by the professor was the circle of Merlin.
This was not their part to play.
Fate had deemed it so. Just as fate had chosen to leave Roe back that very day.
Just as fate chose to suspend the other Emergence in time.
Fate had a way of doing things. It wouldn’t change that way for anything or anyone. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
Roe was still on the ground waiting for something to happen, nothing did. He believed he had pieced it all together but that didn’t matter. Nothing was going to stop what was going to happen.
Fate gave them a simple instruction.
He told them apocalypse would be stopped if they killed Zach.
Zach’s coordinate was something he couldn’t just give them.
He told them to charge info the rifts. They would eventually find the system weilder and when they did. They would kill him.
Gadmoda had been through one rift after the other. She entered the first with an entire strike team, consisting of mostly A rank mages. None made it out but her.
A light descended from the pink skies.
Zach was sure to take note.
Someone’s here he shouted.
Is that possible. I mean how could that happen.
He decided to rush towards it.
He got skeptical and decided not to approach directly.
He would hide and observe from the shadows. That source of light might not even be friend. It could easily be a foe.
Tight.
He couldn’t move. There was a body sized field surrounding him.
Who’s there he shouted.
A figure began approaching him.
It was a female.
She raised her staff , she fired a beam with Zach trapped in place.
He was sent flying back.
That should do it. Gadmoda said.
Gadmoda - S rank mage- Darkness Talent.
She walked on over to return with Zach’s corpse. Crises averted.
She dragged he’s corpse. She readied her staff to fly.
That’s what you thought huh. Zach shouted, that’s no way near enough to put me down. He shouted firing a beam back . She was mere centimeters away from the tip of he’s staff.
He got back up.
Who are you. He asked.
I didn’t want to .... She paused.
A shadow dragged Zach. Just like before he couldn’t move. It was a field. It was some kind of binding.
I won’t lie. You’ve developed. You’re considerably stronger than we were told.
Zach couldn’t move. He would die if he didn’t move. He would die if he didn’t act.
So he did.
Gadmoda approached him.
She striked.
[Evolution complete]
Zach was notified.
Molecular Talent. He chanted.
He’s body atomized and reformed in a second.
A blast was sent straight towards Gadmoda.
She was out of he’s reach.
No. He was out of hers.
He didn’t initiate this beam attack. He didn’t even know what kind of talent would be birth from it.
This was he’s first attempt since he had just gained access to the system’s tier 2.
Molecular Talent huh. Nice
