Two weeks have passed since I became Princess’s girlfriend. I was still head over heels. Every single day feels like a dream I don’t want to wake up from. Princess comes knocking on my door every morning to pick me up for school. She’s always early, standing there at exactly 6 a.m. like a wolf alarm clock in the house. Eriko doesn’t even bother waking me up anymore because he knows the Alpha is already waiting at the doorstep.
We tried to have those deep late night conversations everyone talks about, but I always end up falling asleep mid sentence. Princess told me later that she doesn’t mind. Being the pervert that she is, she just stays on the line and listens to the sound of my snores. Whenever I’m in my room talking to her on the phone, I glance at my nephew’s face. Even when he’s deep in sleep, I can see a little smile on him. I don’t know if he was somehow eavesdropping on our mushy talk or if he was just too excited to sleep properly.
I do spend my weekends with Princess now. Most of the time we are just hanging out, and I sit there hearing her talk about her underground races and the never ending rivalry between her brothers. It sounds like a lot of drama, but she seems to thrive in it.
And then there is Yuki. She was finally able to open her own gym, or as the rest of the group calls it, a dojo class. It’s a cool spot, and Yuki has taken it upon herself to train all of us. We do everything: basic exercise, running on the treadmill until our legs turn to jelly, sparring, shadow boxing in front of the mirrors, and lots of stretching. Even while I’m pregnant, Yuki says it’s perfectly safe as long as I’m careful and listen to my body. On Sunday mornings, I usually head to the club to do yoga with Princess, which is a lot more relaxing than Yuki’s sessions.
As for the relationship between Yuki and Princess, I still feel the heavy tension between them every time they are in the same room. I don’t know if it’s just because Yuki has a deep hate for Alphas in general, but it’s exhausting to watch them glare at each other. I told Princess she needs to stop digging into Yuki’s past and just try to be nice for once. I keep telling her that no one is going to take me away from her, but she still acts like a jealous guard dog. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
As of now, our little business has been moving slowly. We’ve only found and sold two Beast Morphs so far. Malo and Sasha are busy day and night trying to find the location of their next target. We actually know where the blue spark shark resides, but it’s the holiday season now. A certain person is staying at the hotel, and we really don’t want to risk suffering another round of teleportation syndrome. That little dude, no fucking way will I ever encounter with him ever again. We decided it’s better to just wait until next year when school resumes to go after it. He will be in his boarding school while we pick a weekend to go to the hotel and find the beast morph.
After a long sparring session with Yuki, it was a warm Saturday afternoon. I had finally had enough and wanted to rest, so I sat down on the wooden bench, greedily drinking water from my bottle. My muscles were aching in that good way. Just wanted to rest, being pregnant is really a tough job, so many limitations.
"That is a new record today. You are improving," Yuki praised me as she pulled at the velcro to remove her boxing gloves. She looked like she hadn’t even broken a sweat.
"I know. I’ll be even better when I’m not carrying these pups around, hahaha," I said, patting my stomach.
"You’re good with your jabs and a pretty fast learner. Honestly, you’re even better than MG. That boy can’t even try to throw a single punch without closing his eyes," Yuki said with a small chuckle.
"Hahaha, that’s Malo for you. He doesn’t like the idea of someone actually trying to beat him, but I think he’s getting much better with his defense lately," I said. He’s been working hard, even if he doesn’t want to admit it.
"Yes, everyone has their strengths and their weak spots..... Faye, I am still waiting for your response, you know," Yuki said, her tone becoming a bit more serious.
Oh. My response. I knew exactly what she was talking about. Last week, Yuki heard me talking to Malo and Sasha about trying to find any information on the Moon Wolf. Yuki had told me she knows someone who knows a lot about the Moon Wolf, but the catch is they reside in the Free City. She thought maybe I could finally learn more about why Sasha and I are linked and what it all means.
"Yes, we will still go. You know the year is almost over, so maybe we can aim for January. I want to spend the holidays here with Princess and my brother. And also, I need to tell Princess about it so she can accompany me on the trip," I explained.
"Okay, January then. But your Alpha girlfriend doesn’t have to come," Yuki said, her face hardening. "You know I don’t like Alphas around me. You are the only reason I’m even tolerating the ones around me right now. I don’t want the trip to be unbearable because of her attitude."
Yuki explained her side, but I felt a headache coming on. How on earth do I convince my girlfriend that I’m going out of town with my idol? I know Princess is a bit secure in our relationship, but she still absolutely doesn’t like Yuki. I’ll just have to use all my charms and my best cute face on her when the time comes. I really want to go, though. I need to know what kind of power I have and how I was able to make a wolf like Sasha bend to my will so easily.
"Okay, I’ll find a way to make Princess stay behind," I assured her. Yuki seemed satisfied with that. She smiled and placed her hand on my head, gently petting my hair like she always does.
She stood up and stretched her arms over her head.
"Time for my own intense training. Since I have a fight coming up in two days, I have to be fully prepared."
Oh, that’s right. The big match: Beam vs Yuki. It’s supposedly a friendly fight, but Suzzy is using it as a massive promotional event for Yuki. She’s already selling tickets and a bunch of merchandise, making a ton of money from the hype. So yeah, I’m definitely going to be there watching Yuki knock the absolute shit out of Beamer Frost. I’ve been looking forward to this. It’s going to be the best fight of the year, mostly because I get to see Beam’s ass finally get whooped in front of everyone.
