Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Online Rumors
"But we’re clearly telling the truth. Why don’t they believe us?"
"They’re even cussing us out! Let’s go tell a teacher later. Look, it’s already been reposted over five hundred times."
As they spoke, all eyes turned to Chloe Sinclair. freewёbnoνel.com
The girl seemed completely unaffected by the incident. She just watched them with a bright smile, two small dimples appearing on her fair face.
"Chloe, aren’t you angry?"
Chloe Sinclair nodded. "Of course I am."
"Then why are you so calm?"
At this, Chloe Sinclair paused for a moment before her lips curved into a smile. "But when I see a group of lovely classmates who are willing to believe me, it doesn’t seem like such a big deal anymore."
The students were taken aback. Looking into Chloe Sinclair’s sparkling eyes, their hearts melted.
"Chloe, we’ll definitely be your staunchest supporters. Don’t take those words on the school forum to heart. We’re going to tell a teacher right now."
This time, Chloe Sinclair didn’t say anything.
The moment she saw the post, she knew who was behind it.
The post had been up for a full three hours. The administrators must have seen it by now, but it still hadn’t been deleted, which pointed to a problem.
"Chloe, come out here for a second."
While everyone was discussing the matter, Kyle Stern suddenly returned. He looked terrible, and a trace of worry was hidden in his eyes.
Under the worried gazes of the others, Chloe Sinclair calmly stood up and walked over slowly.
"Mr. Stern, what’s wrong?"
Kyle Stern looked like he wanted to say something but held back. He glanced at Chloe Sinclair, then finally said, "Let’s talk in my office."
"Okay."

"That’s the gist of it. We’ve contacted the administrators, and the post on the forum has been taken down. Don’t overthink what those students wrote."
Kyle Stern said, his face clouded with gloom.
It wasn’t that he was worried about Chloe Sinclair’s grade. After all, as soon as the school discovered the issue, they had contacted the proctors. Every single proctor testified that Chloe Sinclair had been completely focused on writing her exam the whole time and simply went to sleep after she finished.
Besides, the questions were all original problems the teachers had written just the day before. Even they hadn’t recorded the answers yet, so it was basically impossible for Chloe Sinclair to have cheated.
What’s more, the teachers had all taken out Chloe Sinclair’s test paper to study it, and many of her methods were different from their current answer key.
This was especially true for the last Physics problem, where Chloe Sinclair had directly used the Metropolis algorithm to calculate the Ising model. None of them, not even the Physics teachers, had ever seen that solution method before. In the end, they had to contact a professor at Kennet University just to understand that she had used a more advanced algorithm.
Even they had only ever heard of it.
"Rumors die with the wise. The school will definitely clear your name."
The main reason he’d asked Chloe Sinclair to come was his fear that the incident would leave the young girl completely demoralized.
After all, some of the students’ comments were truly vicious.
’How could Laura Rhodes’s own dirty deeds be blamed on his student?’
’Some of the students in Class One might have good grades, but their character is an absolute mess.’ frёeωebɳovel.com
Looking at Kyle Stern’s deeply furrowed brow, Chloe Sinclair smiled. "Mr. Stern, the forum post was deleted, but what about the ones online?"
Kyle Stern froze, a bad feeling washing over him.
Just then, Chloe Sinclair handed him a phone.
Kyle Stern focused his gaze on the screen, and his pupils contracted when he saw the content.

When Kyle Stern saw the trending topic, his heart skipped a beat.
He looked up, staring at Chloe Sinclair without blinking, seemingly even more shocked than she was.
