Chapter 67: Chapter 67
Niko’s breaths were uneven as he peeled off Hera’s clothes. First was her skirt, then off with the many buttons on her blouse, and only her undergarment remained.
He could see her skin shudder in the sunlight. His hands grazed the nape of her neck, down her chest to stop at her breast. Her skin was a warm shade of caramel, which shimmered under the sun rays from the window.
She turned to face him, his hand travelling down the valley of her spine, making her shiver with desire. Then he pulled down her undergarment to feel her completely.
He pulled back from her and watched with rapt focus. "You look magnificent." He said, his voice barely above a whisper. Then he came back to her and smashed his lips against hers desperately.
He held her tightly to him as his hand rubbed, squeezed, and caressed every part of her. Suddenly, he broke away from the kiss and began to pull at his own outfit, tearing away cloth after cloth. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Then he went back to her, the kiss was deep and slow this time as Niko savoured every moment as he pulled her towards the bed and gently lay her head against the bed rest.
Slowly, with a trail of kisses, he navigated her body to the warmth between her legs. Hera squirmed underneath him, but he held her tightly in place as he devoured her. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
He came up for some air and moved back up to face her and kissed her again. "You taste delicious," Niko said between kisses.
Hera’s mind couldn’t register everything that was happening to her. Her senses tingled from Niko’s touches.
"This might hurt a bit," Niko said slowly, "but I need you to trust me. Be calm and tell me immediately if you don’t want to continue, but she said nothing, and inch by inch, he entered her.
"My goodness," she gasped. Their eyes locked as he began to move. First, slowly, then quicker until he moved as fast as he could, and they both released. Niko fell on Hera but then pushed himself to the side.
"That was amazing," Hera said, her voice slightly above a whisper. "It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I couldn’t have imagined that it would feel like that."
"You enjoyed it?" Niko asked in ragged breaths.
"Of course I did. Did you?"
Niko smiled, "I did. But I might have over-exerted myself, so I need a little rest."
"You should teach me all of those things that you did, so I could do them on you as well," Hera teased.
The rest of their day was spent naked. They walked barefoot across the house, eating and sleeping and caressing each other until they were too tired to move.
When Hera woke up, it was suddenly the next day, and an alarm went off in her head.
"Why have I done!" She cried, shot up from the bed, and began to pace the room. "What have I done!"
Niko woke up still groggy from sleep and looked up at her. "Hera, what exactly is the problem? Why are you making so much noise this early in the morning?"
"Don’t you realize what time it is? It’s MORNING!"
"I can see that it’s morning; you don’t need to state the obvious. I’m asking what the problem is."
"You idiot, I didn’t go back to the palace."
It took a while for the words to register, but when they did, He scrambled off from the bed and snatched his clothes from the ground.
"I’m not sure they’ll notice," he said, uncertain. "Will they?"
"What were we thinking? Good heavens, I can’t get in trouble for this. My sister would hate me for the rest of our lives," Hera mused.
"If it has truly come to that, I shall talk to Iris," he said, trying to stabilize the situation.
"Please shut up, Niko. You’re not helping." She picked up her clothes and hurried to dress up.
As hastily as they could, they got into the carriage and rode off towards the palace.
"Just drop me off halfway there, then come back later to check if things are ok," Hera said abruptly, startling Niko, who sat beside her quietly.
"I think that would be best as well." Niko nodded.
When the palace was in their line of sight, Niko dropped Hera off at a kiosk with a goat beside it. As soon as she got off, she ran towards the gate.
No one was at the gates, and she couldn’t get in, so she had to wait till the soldiers were changing shifts and tried to tiptoe into the palace, and up to her room.
As soon as she entered her room, Iris and Penelope, who were lying on the bed sleeping, woke up.
Iris shot daggers at Hera. "Where were you?"
Hera flinched. "I went to see Niko. Unfortunately, I fell asleep and woke up this morning."
Iris scoffed. "You know, Hera, for someone who has been told time and time again to mind her conduct and refuses to listen, you really know how to make things worse."
"Do you really not see what we’ve been trying to do for your own good m? Yet here you are throwing yourself to another man." Penelope said.
"Look, I understand all you’re saying. I know I haven’t been acting the best lately, and I’m sorry. I promise it won’t happen again." Hera said.
Iris stood up. "I think we are finished here. You know all you need to know, and I’ve said all I can say. The rest is up to you. You can go ahead and do whatever it is you wish. You’re grown enough to make your choices and bear the consequences of whatever action you choose."
She walked toward the door, and Penelope followed.
Hera sat down on the bed with a thud. She didn’t know what to do anymore. She was so all up in her head that she’d forgotten what she was sacrificing so much for.
