Chapter 523: Chapter 523: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (23)

Tiana’s words stabbed at Leo Joyce’s heart. Beyond surprise, he felt mostly anger.

He couldn’t believe such words had come from Tiana’s mouth.

"Tiana, you’ve changed." After a long, long moment, Leo Joyce finally spoke, his voice trembling.

Hearing Leo Joyce’s words, Tiana gave a self-deprecating smirk. "Yes, I have changed." She had become particular.

’But when you love someone, shouldn’t you be particular?’

’When you love someone, how can you tolerate them constantly caring about and liking another woman...’

’I can’t do it. I really can’t.’

’If he can’t love me truly and wholeheartedly, then why are we still together?’

Tiana Grayson unlocked the door, opened it, and ran out.

Seeing her run off, Leo Joyce felt a deep exhaustion wash over him. It was true he had feelings for Amelia Avery, but he was trying to get over her.

In the past, the only person who could stir his emotions was Amelia Avery. But now, there was Tiana.

He knew, with perfect clarity, that Tiana already held an incredibly important place in his heart. She had even begun to surpass Amelia, the woman he’d liked for so many years. He felt she was on the verge of completely capturing his entire heart. And yet, at this very moment, Tiana was saying things like this to him...

’Suddenly, he felt so disappointed in Tiana...’

Leo Joyce collected himself, clenched his fists slightly, and stepped out of the room.

Downstairs, Aria Joyce had already stopped Tiana. Seeing Tiana’s red eyes, which made it look as though she’d been crying, Aria frowned and asked with concern, "What’s wrong? What happened?"

"Aria, I’m fine. I just want to get home."

"Did that brat bully you? Tell me, and I’ll go give him a piece of my mind right now."

Holding back tears, Tiana forced a smile and shook her head. "No, no... I just want to go home. Right now."

"If she wants to go home, then let her. Come on, I’ll take you home." Leo Joyce had come downstairs. He walked toward Tiana and spoke coldly.

Hearing Leo Joyce, Tiana Grayson’s expression turned grim. Just as his hand was about to touch her, she flinched away. "I don’t need you to take me. I’ll get a cab myself." With that, Tiana was already heading for the front door of the Joyce residence.

Seeing this, Aria Joyce quickly chimed in, "Tiana, you won’t be able to get a cab this late. If you don’t want Leo to take you, then I’ll take you."

Leo Joyce fumed. "If she wants to get a cab, then let her! Sis, why are you getting involved?"

Tiana Grayson clenched her fists, her eyes red, and said through a choked sob, "Since Aria is offering to take me... then I suppose I’ll trouble you."

"It’s no trouble at all! Besides, I’ve been meaning to pay your parents a visit," Aria Joyce said quickly with a smile.

With that, Aria Joyce hurried over to the table to find her keys.

Suppressing the hurt, Tiana stood rooted to the spot, waiting anxiously.

Hearing the two women’s conversation, Leo Joyce snorted in fury and stormed over to the sofa. He flopped down onto it and glared at Tiana, who still hadn’t left. He said coldly, "Weren’t you leaving? So why are you still here?"

"——" Seeing that Aria still hadn’t found her keys, Tiana stormed toward the front door as well.

Watching Tiana’s retreating figure, Leo Joyce kicked out at the coffee table in front of him...
