Chapter 517: Chapter 517: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (17)

Meanwhile, in the hallways of the university division at Crimson Blossom Academy, cries of surprise rang out.

"Young Master Joyce! It’s Young Master Joyce!"

"Why is Young Master Joyce at school? He hasn’t been here in ages."

"Yeah, I haven’t seen him in weeks."

One of the girls excitedly ran into the Freshman (A) classroom. "Tiana, Tiana! Young Master Joyce is at school! He must be here to pick you up. You have to go see!"

At the academy, almost everyone had accepted the fact that Young Master Joyce and the heiress of the Grayson Family were dating.

They hadn’t just accepted it; for them, what they looked forward to most each day was Young Master Joyce coming to pick Tiana up from school himself.

It was the only time they could catch a glimpse of his elegant demeanor.

When Tiana Grayson heard the girl’s words, the hand she was writing with paused for a moment. Then, she pretended not to have heard and continued writing.

Seeing that Tiana hadn’t heard her, the girl ran over, grabbed Tiana’s arm, and said urgently, "Tiana, Young Master Joyce is here! Why aren’t you reacting?!"

"So what if he’s here? It has nothing to do with me. I still have homework to do. Yvonne, don’t bother me."

The girl, Yvonne, stroked her chin and studied Tiana. "Weird. Young Master Joyce came to see you himself, and this is your attitude?" ’Didn’t you used to go out blushing shyly every other time?’

"Tiana, you didn’t get into a fight with Young Master Joyce, did you?"

"No," Tiana Grayson replied coldly, taking a textbook from her desk and walking out of the classroom.

Seeing this, Yvonne hurried after her. "Tiana, what’s really going on with you and Young Master Joyce? If you fought, we can all help you figure something out."

Tiana Grayson stopped, turned to face Yvonne, and said coldly, "We didn’t fight. We just broke up."

"What?! Broke up? You and Young Master Joyce broke up?" Yvonne shouted in astonishment.

"Y-Yvonne, keep your voice down!"

But it was obviously too late. Yvonne’s voice was so loud that not only did everyone sitting in the classroom hear her, but so did everyone out in the hallway.

At that exact moment, Leo Joyce had just reached the Freshman (A) classroom. He stopped in his tracks, his hands clenching into tight fists inside his pockets.

Inside the classroom, some of the boys who were infatuated with Tiana were suddenly overcome with excitement.

One particularly bold boy took a box of chocolates from his desk and walked over to Tiana. He looked a little flustered as he stammered, "Tiana, this is a small token of my feelings. I hope you’ll accept it."

Looking at the chocolates the boy was offering, Yvonne snatched them and said with a grin and a raised eyebrow, "Thanks."

"Those are for Tiana! Why are you taking them?" the boy said angrily, snatching the box back from Yvonne’s hand.

"Hahaha, Carter Warren, don’t overestimate yourself! Take a good look in the mirror. With a shabby mug like yours, you want to chase after Tiana? In your dreams!"

When Carter Warren heard this, his face flushed red with anger. "Yvonne Miller, who the fuck do you think you are? Do you have any say in this?"

...

Watching the two of them argue, Tiana sighed, clutched her textbook, and turned to leave the classroom.

The moment she stepped out of the classroom, she looked up and saw Leo Joyce standing in the hallway. Her hands, clutching the textbook, tightened involuntarily, and her expression turned incredibly sour...
