Chapter 511: Chapter 511: Mika Summers vs. Tristan Grayson (11)

Tristan Grayson quickly begged for forgiveness, "Darling, I really know I was wrong this time! Please don’t be angry anymore!"

Mika Summers crossed her arms, ignoring him.

’Tristan felt so wronged, but there was nothing he could do. Who else but himself was to blame for his momentary lapse in judgment?’

Back then, when he heard it was Gia Miller, he just hadn’t wanted her to drag other people into their personal feud.

Besides, the incident with Aria Joyce had happened while she was at their engagement party...

Watching the young couple, Mae Lynch sighed, exchanged a few words with Una Sullivan, and then led Tiana and the others away.

Only Mika Summers and Tristan Grayson remained.

Tristan Grayson wrapped his arms tightly around Mika’s waist, resting his head on her shoulder. "Or," he said pitifully, "I could get discharged today."

"You can’t be discharged in your condition."

"But don’t you dislike Aria Joyce? If we leave the hospital, we won’t have to see her."

Mika Summers struggled out of Tristan’s embrace and snapped, "Why should we be the ones to hide? It’s not like *we’ve* done anything sordid. Besides, Tristan, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. What are you so worried about? Or did you do something with her behind my back?"

Hearing Mika’s sharp accusation, Tristan felt his confidence falter. "No! I absolutely haven’t done anything to let you down!"

"Tristan Grayson, why do I find it so hard to believe you right now?" Mika Summers’s brow furrowed as she coldly sized up his nervous expression.

’If there was really nothing to it, why would he be so nervous?’

"Honey, I really haven’t done anything to betray your trust."

"You’d better hope not! Otherwise, Tristan Grayson, I’ll never forgive you! If I find out you dared to fool around with other women behind my back, I... I’ll make sure you never see me again!"

"Honey, isn’t that a little too harsh?"

Mika Summers’s eyes narrowed. "So, are you saying you can’t do it?" she asked coldly.

"I can! I absolutely can!"

"Tristan Grayson, just don’t let me find out you’ve lied to me."

"I won’t. I won’t," Tristan Grayson promised hastily, pulling her into a tight embrace.

As Mika felt Tristan’s embrace, her brow furrowed again, and a sliver of unease settled in her heart.

’This Aria Joyce is clearly not someone to be trifled with. And with the way she feels about Tristan... it looks like I’ll have to watch him like a hawk from now on...’

Back in her hospital room, Aria Joyce lay on her bed as images replayed in her mind: Tristan holding that woman, Tristan coldly telling them to step outside to talk.

’What’s so great about that woman, anyway, that makes Tristan treat her so well?’

The thought that Tristan had risked his life to save her was the very reason she couldn’t give up...

’In the past, she hadn’t actively pursued Tristan because she knew he didn’t have feelings for her. But after this kidnapping, she was sure that he did. Otherwise, he never would have risked his life for her.’

’Tristan must have remarried that woman for the sake of their child.’

’As long as I win over Tristan’s family, and then his son, and work hard at being a good mother, I can definitely win his heart...’

’No matter what, she would absolutely not let Tristan go so easily this time. Tristan had to be hers.’
