Chapter 509: Chapter 509: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (9)
After leaving the hospital room, Leo Joyce found a deserted corner and lit a cigarette.
"Tiana, you take Kiki and the others to find your brother and sister-in-law. I’m going downstairs to meet Mr. Summers and the others."
"Oh," Tiana murmured. She reached out for Kiki, then led him and Rory down the hall.
Hearing the voices nearby, Leo Joyce frowned, his brow tightly furrowed. He turned and watched the woman walking down the hall.
The moment Tiana Grayson saw Leo Joyce, she faltered. But it was only for an instant. Her face went cold, and she continued toward the hospital room with Kiki and Rory in tow.
Leo Joyce crushed the cigarette in his hand, suppressing his fury as he watched her walk right past him.
Only after she had disappeared down the hall did Leo Joyce throw the cigarette butt to the floor. He shoved his hands in his pockets and stormed downstairs.
’So she can just pretend not to know me now?’
’Great. Just great...’
’If she wants to pretend she doesn’t know me, then we can be strangers for the rest of our lives!’
The more Leo Joyce thought about it, the angrier he became. He was the one who had every right to be angry! But no, she had to go and break up with him first, and now she was pretending she didn’t even know him.
He left the hospital. If he didn’t find something to do, he was going to explode.

Meanwhile, Tiana led Kiki and the others into the hospital room.
Kiki immediately ran to Mika Summers. Mika scooped him up and set him down on the bed beside Tristan Grayson.
She beckoned to Rory, who walked over to her side. Mika ruffled the little girl’s hair and asked with a smile, "Who did you sleep with last night, Rory?"
"With Auntie Tiana," Rory replied with a smile, glancing at Tiana.
"Oh? And do you like Auntie Tiana?"
"I do."
"Tiana, I’ll have to leave Rory in your care for a while, then. Once your brother is out of the hospital, I’ll come and get both of the little ones."
"Of course, don’t worry about it, Mika. I get pretty lonely at home by myself, so I’m happy to have them keep me company..." As she spoke, Tiana felt a pang of sorrow.
"Good. That’s a relief."
In the adjacent room, Aria Joyce lay in bed, watching the group of people walk past her door. She frowned slightly.
She pulled back the covers and started to get out of bed. Seeing this, Luna Lynch rushed over to support her, asking worriedly, "What’s wrong? Where are you going?"
"Mom, I think I just saw Mrs. Grayson."
Luna Lynch frowned, looking at her daughter in confusion.
"Mom, I want to go over and say hello to Mrs. Grayson."
Luna Lynch clearly didn’t understand her daughter’s intentions. "What for?" she said, her tone cold and disapproving. "You should be lying down and resting."
"Mom, Tristan saved me," Aria Joyce said, her eyes turning red with emotion. "At the very least, I should go thank them. If it weren’t for me, Tristan wouldn’t be in the hospital right now."
Julian Joyce nodded in satisfaction. "Yes, Aria is right. We of the Joyce Family are not ungrateful people. Tristan Grayson saved our daughter, so it is only right that she go and express her thanks."
"Alright, then. I’ll help you over there," Luna Lynch said, relenting with a sigh.
"Okay. Thanks, Mom."
Tristan Grayson’s room was currently bustling with activity. Joseph Summers and his wife, Tristan’s mother, Tiana, and the two children were all there. The atmosphere was clearly much warmer and more lively than in Aria Joyce’s room.
As Aria Joyce entered the room and took in the warm scene, the hand hanging at her side clenched slightly...
