Chapter 502: Chapter 502: Mika Summers VS Tristan Grayson (Part 2)

"AAAAAH—" a woman’s agonized scream suddenly rang out.

Gia Miller took a bullet to the thigh and nearly collapsed, but her upper body was still wedged in the car window. Glass shards pierced her skin, yet she gritted her teeth against the overwhelming pain and desperately forced herself back to her feet.

Mika Summers watched Gia Miller’s twisted expression. She slid from the passenger’s seat to the driver’s. Tightly gripping a dagger, Gia Miller lunged in to stab her.

Ian Shaw whipped out a key and quickly unlocked the car doors. Mika Summers heard a CLICK, yanked her door open, and bolted.

Gia Miller pulled herself free of the window. Seeing Leon Warren and his men still standing there stunned, she roared, "Grab her! Don’t let her get away!"

The moment she got out of the car, Mika Summers sprinted toward the river. On Gia Miller’s orders, Leon Warren and his men immediately gave chase.

Meanwhile, as Mika Summers exited the car, Ian Shaw had the helicopter descend. When it was still two meters above the ground, Ian Shaw jumped.

He immediately subdued Gia Miller with his gun, ordering his men to tie her up.

Gun held tight, he headed toward the river.

When Leon Warren and his men caught up to her, Mika stopped, turned to face them, and began backing away slowly...

Behind her was the river. ’If I have to die, I’ll die in the same place as Tristan Grayson...’

She wasn’t afraid, just watched the men walking toward her with a cold gaze.

Ian Shaw saw that Mika Summers was about to fall. He raised his gun and shot one of the men in the arm. The man howled in pain, clutching his arm as he half-squatted. "AH! DAMN IT!!!!!"

When the other three men saw that Leon Warren had been shot, they panicked. Noticing that Gia Miller was gone, they raised their hands, put them over their heads, and squatted down.

Leon Warren, enduring the pain, straightened up and kicked Charles Warren, who was next to him. "You useless fuck! Hurry up and grab that broad!"

"Okay! Okay!" Charles Warren shuddered from the kick and hastily agreed, turning to walk toward Mika Summers.

Seeing this, Ian Shaw’s cold voice rang out, "Stop right there!"

Hearing the command, Charles Warren’s legs started to shake, and he froze on the spot.

"If any of you dare to move, I’ll put a bullet in you!"

Hearing Ian Shaw’s threat, the men indeed didn’t dare to move. Leon Warren, however, was furious. Clutching his arm and gritting his teeth against the pain, he turned and started walking toward Mika Summers.

’He wouldn’t dare actually shoot to kill!’

Yet, Leon Warren had only taken two steps when a shot—BANG—hit him in the foot.

This time, the pain was enough to make him collapse completely.

As the gunshot faded, police officers got out of their cars and ran toward the scene.

Seeing this, the other men were even more terrified, trembling as they squatted on the ground, not daring to get up.

Mika Summers watched the villains get taken away, then turned, squatted down, and let the tears stream from the corners of her eyes...

Just then, Silas Kent walked out from behind the police officers. He paused for a moment as he passed Ian Shaw. Frowning, Ian Shaw beat him to Mika Summers’s side. He squatted down, placed a hand on her shoulder, and offered a terse reassurance, "Tristan will be fine."

"I told him not to come! I begged him not to come, but he just wouldn’t listen. If I had known this was going to happen, I would have died before I let him come."
