Summer’s mind went completely blank. ’I never thought he’d kiss me here... Weren’t we supposed to be cooking and eating dinner together? How did it turn into this?’

Kenneth’s kiss deepened, and Summer’s body went limp. Just as she was about to fall, he wrapped an arm around her waist to steady her. "Summer," he murmured, "do you have any idea how tempting you are right now?" He then buried his face against her chest, breathing in her sweet scent.

Summer’s face flushed so red it felt like it could bleed. His words left her utterly flustered and mortified.

"Honey, want to take a shower?" Kenneth asked. He still looked unsatiated, but considering Summer probably couldn’t take much more, he decided to call a truce.

"I don’t have the strength." Summer wanted to cry but had no tears left. She was hungry, sleepy, and had been thoroughly ravaged by him. At this point, she felt practically paralyzed.

"Honey, your stamina is terrible. From now on, you should wake up early and go running with me every day!"

"No way!" Summer pulled the covers over her head. ’I already get up early enough, and now I have to go running too? He might as well just kill me!’

"Be good, honey. I’ll be in charge of waking you up every morning," Kenneth Yates said, scooping a blanket-wrapped Summer into his arms and heading for the bathroom.

"Ahh—!" Summer shrieked. She wasn’t wearing anything! A blush crept over her skin at the sudden, embarrassing exposure to the air.
