Chapter 125: Chapter 125: The Sky Of The Middle-East
After obtaining and verifying the coordinates, Neo and his group set out for the destination at once.
Marcus was left to rot of course.
Buzz!
Their anti-gravity car flew at Mach 1 (around 1,300 km/h), breaking through the sound barrier with ease. It was currently daytime, and traveling at that speed left a spectacular white contrail tearing through the sky.
For an hour, they crossed over mountains and seas, finally reaching the vast deserts of the Middle East. The land below was an endless expanse of yellow sand and scattered cacti. Occasionally, caravans of camels and their riders could be seen passing through the sand dunes in a singular line.
Hearing the deafening sound of the sky being torn apart, the nomads looked up in absolute terror.
They were not scared of Neo’s speeding car, but of the massive Mechas closely tailing it.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The heavy thrusters mounted on the Mechas’ arms and legs generated more than enough power to keep pace with Neo’s vehicle.
Neo and the group glanced back, their eyes narrowing with annoyance.
Leon, however, issued a serious warning:
"Do not mistake them for regular robots Neo. They are forged from Rune-tech Titanium and powered by miniature nuclear engines. With a well-trained pilot at the helm, a single unit can effortlessly defeat several Metahumans."
Neo smiled fearlessly at him. "What about you? Can you defeat one of them?"
Leon understood that Neo was testing him, so he replied confidently, "Of course. Age brings experience, boy."
"Then prove it, Uncle," Zestia teased, smiling mischievously. "Show us you are not worse than a chunk of metal."
Leon internally scolded the little lass for being such a busybody; nevertheless, he smashed his fists together, cracking his knuckles as if officially accepting the challenge.
"Watch me."
Without a hint of hesitation, Leon kicked open the rear hatch of the speeding anti-gravity car.
Ignoring the roaring Mach 1 winds that threatened to tear him away, he enveloped his body in a blazing, crimson aura and launched himself directly into the open sky.
"Let’s see what these metal cans are made of!" Leon roared over the wind. freewёbnoνel.com
As a veteran of countless battles, Leon knew that fighting nuclear-powered machines head-on was suicide. Instead, he relied on pure combat wit.
As the twelve massive Mechas locked their targeting lasers onto him, Leon chanted rapidly.
"Solar Flare!"
Upon finishing incantation, from his palms a blinding compressed fireball formed like a miniature sun.
The bright flash temporarily blockef the optical sensors of the leading Mechas.
And while they were temporarily blinded, Leon darted beneath the first one, driving a concentrated, white-hot blade of fire directly into its thruster exhaust.
The internal nuclear engine got critically overheated.
BOOM!
The first Mecha violently detonated in mid-air.
Leon used the shockwave to propel himself sideways, perfectly dodging a barrage of heavy laser fire from the second Mecha.
Whoosh!
With a swift flick of his wrist, he cast a localized thermal vacuum around the second Mecha’s cooling vents, causing its core to immediately stall and plummet helplessly into the desert dunes below.
Two down. Ten to go.
However, the remaining Mechas quickly adapted to his traitorous fighting style. Their systems linked up, calculating Leon’s flight patterns and energy output.
In a matter of seconds, the ten towering machines surrounded him in a flawless spherical formation, entirely cutting off his escape routes.
Hummmmm.
The hum of ten heavy nuclear blasters charging up echoed through the sky.
"Damn bastards!"
Leon cursed as he gritted his teeth. He realized he had been outmaneuvered.
Neo watched the situation unfold with calm indifference. He raised a single finger and gave a signal.
"Understood, Master," Elena stated in her robotic voice.
Clark also reacted.
Instantly, both of them leapt from the speeding car.
Their bodies transformed into battle machines mid air..
Elena’s chassis expanded, forming glossy aerodynamic armor plating and a pair of white metalic wings.
She transformed into a breathtaking Mechanical Angel, her design prioritizing extreme agility and aerial maneuverability over heavy armor.
Beside her, Clark folded inward. His limbs fused and extended into long monomolecular vibrating blades.
He became a hyper-streamlined Cutting Machine, which only made for severing.
Compared to Metahumans, they lacked the overwhelming raw combat power and heavy shields of the Rune-tech Titanium Mechas.
But what they lacked in brute force, they made up for in untouchable flexibility and speed.
Swoosh!
Before the surrounding Mechas could fire their cannons at Leon, Elena and Clark became a mix of silver and light.
Elena danced through the air like a white phantom, infiltrating flawlessly between the sluggish laser blasts and nuclear blasts.
Using her supreme agility, she managed to land precisely on the back of a Mecha.
She then slashes down using her extended arms blades, temporarily disconnecting the connect to the processing system
"Do it now, Dr. Clark!" she communicated through their internal network.
Clark whizzed through the sky like a spinning buzzsaw.
Clang! Slash!
His monomolecular blades sliced through the unarmored joints of the Mechas with terrifying ease.
The heavy Mechas, built for frontal assaults and massive destruction, completely failed to track the two hyper-fast mechas.
They swung their massive fists and fired wild elemental blasts, but only hit empty air.
Elena and Clark dismantled them piece by piece.
"Good kids!" Leon laughed loudly, seeing the opening.
With the Mechas’ defensive formations broken and their joints severed by Clark, Leon unleashed his full magical arsenal.
"Fire Dragon’s Wrath!"
He summoned a massive, roaring dragon made of pure fire that coiled through the sky, swallowing the crippled machines one after another.

The desert sky and land shook by the nassive explosions.
The broken pieces of Titanium runic metals rained down upon the endless yellow sand, creating a cloud of schorched sand.
Within minutes, the sky was completely clear.
All twelve of the supposedly invincible Mechas had been reduced to burning, scattered scrap metal across the Middle Eastern desert.
Leon and two Hyper Mechas proved themselves they weren’t useless at the least.
And Neo started learn how to utilise his allies and let them grow stronger.
