Shen Yi looked over, a bit confused. He didn’t understand what this girl was trying to do. ’She’s completely nuts.’ He was making a conscious effort to control his temper for Qin Jiao and his family.
But for someone who just popped up out of nowhere, he wasn’t about to be so polite.
Shen Yi raised his eyes, his gaze as cold as ice. "Is there something wrong with you? Whether we’re dating or not, what does that have to do with you? What rock did you crawl out from under?"
Sun Lili: "..."
Qin Jiao didn’t want Shen Yi to lose his temper. He had a short fuse, and it would be terrible if things turned out like they did in their past life.
She reached out and tugged on Shen Yi’s hand. The touch was soft and gentle, and just like that, the anger flaring up in Shen Yi vanished with a WHOOSH.
Meanwhile, Gu Yunqi spoke up. "The two of them have been together since high school. I can vouch for that. Is there anything else, miss?"

Qin Jiao and Shen Yi left the school and started walking down the street. The taekwondo studio wasn’t too far away, so they decided to walk there.
Qin Jiao said, "Shen Yi, for a moment back there, were you about to lose your temper like in our past life?"
Shen Yi frowned. "That girl was just so annoying. I never hit women, but I really wanted to deck her! And what was her deal? Do we not look like a couple? Did she really have to ask over and over again?!"
Hearing this, Qin Jiao let out a snort of laughter. "Shen Yi, I’m realizing you’re completely clueless. Didn’t you notice that Sun Lili has a crush on you? I literally just told you that."
"That girl from before?"
Seeing the look on Shen Yi’s face, Qin Jiao decided not to press the issue. There was no point. Even if Shen Yi were to fall in love with someone else, it wouldn’t be someone like Sun Lili.
When Qin Jiao didn’t say any more, Shen Yi let out a small sigh of relief when she wasn’t looking.
