"Match is over, Lady Elena couldn’t stop the attack so Lord Kai wins"
Cecil declared me the winner, of course it is taking into consideration that this is just a friendly sparring match so it’s better to end it before anyone gets injured.
"W-wait! I can still fight, I didn’t even use my strongest magic! "
Elena doesn’t seem satisfied with it, and although it’s childish of her but I know she really might not have used her strongest move yet, but so did I.
"I am sorry but I can’t continue, maybe you held back lady Elena but I honestly used all my strength in that last attack because I believed it’s the only way I could win"
I decided to make an excuse to end this for now, I know it will make her angry but it’s better to have only minimum with her.
"Alright, but can you please spar with me again later"
"O-Okay"
Unexpectedly instead of getting angry, she made a request to spar again. She’s really a battle junkie.

It’s been a whole day since the sparring match. Everyone took their rest in the mansion and now we are ready for the exploration.
It took a while to convince father to let me join the exploration but surprisingly as soon as I got the permission, Elena also got the permission to join.
Allia declined the chance, saying she wants to rest but actually she just wants to avoid getting involved in any bet.
"When will we reach there?"
We are in a carriage, there are just four people inside this carriage, both the Marquises, Elena and me. The knights and the hired adventures are on their horses.

Marquis Mizo replied to Elena, honestly being a first time even I am excited so it’s obviously more exciting for Elena who’s the only real kid here.

The carriage stopped and we heard Sir Cecil’s voice. He is the leader of the exploration this time, two Marquis are here to just supervise.
We got out of the carriage. All of us are already clad in high quality leather armor with metal plates protecting the vitals.

Under Cecil’s lead we entered the dungeon, actually we are walking far behind the main team with only our father and two knights who are here to protect us.

Anyway, it’s been over an hour since we entered the dungeon and there’s not a single monster in our sight. Just as I was losing interest, the main team in front of us stopped.
"Here’s a big chamber room down there, everyone be careful!"
I heard Cecil’s warning, but a chamber room? In a cave inside a mountain? Which civilisation made it? Suddenly too many questions popped up in my head.
It was said that "The Holy Maiden" was an otome game but its sequel "The Holy War" that was supposed to be released two years later, is an adventure based game. Unfortunately I died before even its trailer could be released.
I’ll have to beware about this place, this very well can be one of the locations in the sequel. And if there’s a game location so there can be rewards as well.

The main team entered the chamber room as I was thinking about all these things. We eventually followed after them. It was a quiet and dark place but we already had our fire torches ready and also a fire magic user in our team.

When they passed through the gate we could see their clear appearance. They are bats but not ordinary bats, they are monster bats over 70 centimeters in height with pitch black bodies and very long fangs, their ears are also much longer than normal bats and they has blood red eyes.
’Phantom Bat’ monsters with dark attribute poison, their elemental power is weak but they are deadly for normal humans. Such a large group can be a big trouble for the citizens if not handled immediately.
The main team quickly engaged in assault against the phantom bats while the two knights protecting us took a defensive stance.

The phantom bat reached us at that time. Though it was flying, so I first used ’Gale’ to fly or more like jump near it and swang my staff in a circular arc.
