Chapter 59: Chapter 59 Damn! I’m really strong!

"Damn... I’m really strong!" Ivy screamed inwardly, her heart racing.

She held it there.

Not just for a second but for several long moments.

Her muscles strained slightly, but not in the way she expected. It wasn’t overwhelming. It wasn’t unbearable.

It was... manageable.

Controlled.

After holding it up for a while, she slowly lowered it back down.

The heavy thud echoed faintly against the ground.

But she wasn’t done.

Moving to the other side, Ivy positioned herself again.

"It’s not like I can lift the whole thing at once yet..." she muttered, determination flashing in her eyes. "But that doesn’t mean I can’t improve."

She lifted again.

This time, she held it longer.

Minutes passed.

Her breathing deepened, but she didn’t stop until she was satisfied.

Finally, she let it drop.

A wide grin spread across her face.

"This is so cool!" she exclaimed, unable to hide her excitement.

"Uhmm..."

Ivy slowly flexed her fingers, staring down at her palms as though they didn’t quite belong to her anymore.

Her gaze lifted toward the open stretch of land beyond her base.

"I should start training outside soon..." she thought inwardly. "Maybe even practice against real monsters."

Ding!

{Advanced combat techniques designed specifically for killing monsters have been activated.}

"Huh?" Ivy blinked, caught off guard.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

But before the system could "reply" in words...

It acted.

A brilliant blue light suddenly engulfed her making her body stiffen followed by pain.

A sharp, splitting headache exploded in her skull.

"Ah!"

Ivy clutched her head tightly, her knees buckling as the sensation intensified. It felt as if her mind was being forcefully pried open, stretched beyond its limits.

Information flooded in not slowly but violently.

Different combat movements. freewebnovel.cσ๓

Precise killing techniques, eak points of various monsters, angles, Timing, Execution.

Everything crashed into her consciousness all at once.

"Ugh!"

Her vision blurred while her breathing became uneven and by the time it stopped....her body gave out.

Ivy collapsed onto the ground, her chest rising and falling heavily. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

It was too overwhelming.

The knowledge didn’t just sit in her mind....it moved, replayed, forced itself into her awareness.

Soon...she felt okay....no more pain like her head want to explode.

Ding!

{Congratulations, host.}

{You have unlocked the ability to analyze both high-level and low-level monsters, along with specialized techniques to defeat them.}

{By following these techniques precisely, you will be able to eliminate them efficiently.}

"...Nice!" Ivy exclaimed, her exhaustion momentarily forgotten.

She pushed herself up slightly, excitement bursting through her fatigue.

"So... should we go now? To fight monsters since these techniques is designed for them. It’ll be better to practice on them."

Ding!

{I would not advise that, host.}

{You have just received a large influx of information. Your body and mind need time to properly absorb it.}

{You should rest, recover, and gradually familiarize yourself with the techniques before engaging real monsters.}

Ivy paused.

Then nodded slowly.

"Oh... I see," she replied, a small smile forming on her lips. "That makes sense."

She exhaled, her body finally starting to feel the weight of everything she had just gone through.

The exhaustion, strain and overload.

"The city is about an hour away from my base anyway..." she thought. "And I’m definitely not in the mood to walk into a monster-infested area in this condition."

A faint chuckle escaped her lips.

"Yeah... that would just be stupid."

"I’ll go rest first," Ivy said aloud, her tone now calm but resolute. "Then I’ll keep practicing the techniques once I’ve recovered."

She paused briefly before adding....

"You should prepare more dummies for me. I’ll need them for training."

{Understood, host. Preparing immediately.}

With that, Ivy turned and began walking back toward the shelter.

Five days later...

Ivy’s base had continued to thrive.

Each passing day brought visible improvement not just to the structure of the base itself, but to Ivy as well. She spent most of her time training relentlessly, pushing her limits as she prepared for what she knew would soon come...

Her first real battle in the city.

Her first true confrontation with the monsters.

But it wasn’t all training.

Despite everything, Ivy still made time for her children.

She cooked for them, played with them, and stayed by their side whenever she could. Whether it was reading stories with Aria and Lila or gently cradling little Hope in her arms, those moments grounded her....reminding her why she was fighting in the first place.

They were her reason.

Her purpose.
