Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Stockpiling continues

The shopkeeper’s shocked voice shattered her thoughts instantly.

Ivy blinked and turned.

The old man stood frozen behind the counter, his eyes fixed on the shelves...

Now nearly empty.

It looked as though the store had been completely raided in broad daylight.

"Are you... buying all of these?" he asked, his voice trembling slightly as disbelief crept into every syllable.

"I am," Ivy replied calmly, her expression unreadable. "Everything here."

The shopkeeper’s mouth fell open, but no words came out. He simply stared at her, as though trying to decide whether she was serious or insane.

"Please calculate the total cost and forward it to me," she continued smoothly, already reaching into her bag. "You’ll also arrange delivery to a location I’ll provide."

Without waiting for his response, Ivy pulled out a sheet of paper and a pen, quickly scribbled down her contact information, then handed it to him.

"Call me once everything is ready."

And just like that...

She turned and walked out of the store.

---

The moment she stepped outside, Ivy exhaled a long breath of relief, her shoulders relaxing slightly.

Her hand moved to her phone.

The screen lit up.

Her balance stared back at her.

Almost empty.

Only twenty thousand dollars remained.

Her lips pressed into a thin line.

"That won’t last..." she murmured under her breath.

Without hesitation, she opened her phone and began downloading multiple loan apps, her fingers moving quickly across the screen. One after another, she filled in the required details.

She put the house where her ex-husband, his mistress, and their son currently lived on a lease without a trace of hesitation.

A cold smile tugged at her lips.

Let them deal with the consequences later.

Exactly five minutes later....

Her phone buzzed.

$30,000 has been credited to your account.

Another notification followed almost instantly. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com

$50,000 has been credited to your account.

Then—

$5,000,000 has been credited to your account.

And finally—

$10,000,000 has been credited to your account.

Ivy stared at the screen for a moment, her eyes steady, the wind blowing through her hair.

She had promised to repay double within three days...

A promise she had absolutely no intention of keeping.

Now...

She had enough.

---

Ivy got into her car, her movements swift and decisive.

Her next destination—

A baby store.

There were less than ten days left before her delivery.

Time was running out.

Everything she had previously prepared for her baby had been extracted by the system to create storage space.

Now, she had to start over.

---

The moment Ivy stepped into the baby store, she didn’t bother browsing.

Instead, she walked straight to the counter.

"I’ll take everything in this store," she said calmly.

The sales representative froze mid-step.

"E–Excuse me, ma’am?" he stammered, blinking rapidly.

"Everything," Ivy repeated, her tone firm and unwavering. "From baby clothes to feeding supplies. Pack all of it."

The man stared at her, clearly trying to process her words.

"Are you... sure you really want to buy everything, ma’am?" he asked cautiously.

"Very sure."

Thankfully, it wasn’t a large store.

Otherwise, even she might have hesitated.

"Just deliver everything to this address," she added, writing it down and handing it over.

Without another word, she turned and walked out.

---

Her next stop according to the system was the supermarket.

Since she was determined to get everything done in one go, her system had already generated a list of places she needed to visit.

And she intended to follow it completely.

Once inside, Ivy didn’t waste any time. She walked straight toward one of the sales representatives.

The supermarket buzzed with activity. Customers moved about with carts, soft music played in the background, and the air carried a calm, everyday normalcy—

A normalcy that would soon be destroyed.

"Good morning," Ivy said. "I need to speak with your manager."

One of the sales representatives stepped forward.

"What do you need the manager for, ma’am? I can assist you," he replied politely. "If there’s any issue, just let me know."

Ivy sighed softly and placed a hand on her waist.

"Please," she said, her voice losing a bit of patience. "Get your manager. I’ll only discuss with him."

This time, one of them took her seriously and hurried off.

Moments later, he returned with a young man dressed in a fitted black suit.

"Here’s the manager, ma’am."

Ivy stepped forward.

"I need everything in this store," she said directly. "All the food. Every single item."

The manager studied her carefully, his gaze sharp and assessing.

Behind her, whispers spread among the staff.

"She doesn’t look rich..."

"Even her car doesn’t match..."

"If she wanted to start a business, she’d have suppliers..."

Their voices were low—

But not low enough.

"I’m serious," Ivy added, unfazed. "Calculate everything and give me the total."

The manager let out a short scoff.

"All the goods in this supermarket amount to twenty million dollars, ma’am," he said. "That includes processed foods as well. Are you certain you want to proceed?"

Ivy paused.

Then she checked her account balance again.

She couldn’t bring herself to spend everything but then...

Her eyes settled on the ten million.

That was enough.

"Then I’ll take half," she said after a brief pause. "Ten million dollars’ worth."

Silence fell instantly.

Shock rippled through the store.

"That... works too, ma’am," the manager replied quickly, his attitude shifting into a wide smile. "Cash or transfer?"

"Transfer."

Within seconds, the payment was completed.

Afterward, she wrote down the delivery address and handed it over.

Then she turned and walked out...

Leaving the manager and staff staring after her in stunned silence.
