"Ten thousand points?" Ivy murmured with a scoff. "And what exactly does it do?"

Meanwhile, Darren was already used to this. By now, he knew Ivy was talking to her system. He had witnessed it countless times before, and although he couldn’t hear the system’s responses, he could usually guess what was happening from Ivy’s side of the conversation.
"Great. Then I want to convert this goose egg crystal core into Evolution Liquid," Ivy replied internally, a smile spreading across her face. "As long as it helps my evolution, it’s a worthwhile purchase."
Immediately, a white bottle materialized on the table between Ivy and Darren.
Inside was a glowing blue liquid that shimmered brilliantly, almost like a miniature star trapped inside glass. The liquid emitted a soft radiance that illuminated the surrounding area.

A warm smile appeared on Ivy’s face.
Her attention soon shifted toward the bottle of Evolution Liquid resting on the table. Reaching forward, she wrapped her fingers around it.
The bottle felt unusually cold against her skin....far colder than ordinary ice. It was as though she were holding liquid winter in her hand.
Despite that, Ivy wasn’t concerned.
Without wasting another second, and before Darren could gather the courage to ask any questions, she uncorked the bottle and brought it to her lips.
She drank half of the contents in a few large gulps before placing the bottle, with the remaining liquid still inside, back onto the table.
The liquid itself was surprisingly colorless once it entered her mouth, despite the brilliant blue glow it possessed inside the bottle. It carried a faint sweet fragrance that lingered in the air even after she swallowed it.
For several seconds, nothing happened.
Then suddenly—
A surge of energy exploded throughout Ivy’s body.
It rushed through her veins like a raging river, spreading from her chest to every corner of her body.
Her eyes widened.
She could feel her abilities growing stronger.
Much stronger.
Without wasting any time, Ivy turned her gaze toward the flower garden that Darren and the children had been carefully tending over the past few days.
She stretched out her hand.

She merely raised a single finger.
Instantly, several rose plants began to grow at an astonishing speed.
Their stems thickened.
Their roots dug deeper into the soil.
The flowers expanded in size while countless thorn-covered vines erupted from the ground.
Within moments, the once ordinary rose bushes had transformed into half-meter-tall offensive vines covered in razor-sharp thorns.
Ivy’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"So fast..."
Even Darren stared in stunned silence.
Before he could recover from that shock, Ivy turned her attention toward the fish pond.
She lifted a finger once more.
The pond immediately exploded with movement.
A massive column of water shot upward with incredible force, rising several meters into the air.
The water obeyed her commands perfectly.
Ivy could feel the immense power contained within it.
Without hesitation, she directed the stream toward a large tree standing just outside the compound.

A bright smile spread across her face.

She turned toward Darren and pushed the bottle toward him.
"You should drink the remaining half too, Darren."
Darren didn’t waste time asking questions.
Picking up the bottle, he tilted his head back and drank the remaining liquid in a single gulp.
Unlike Ivy, the liquid tasted surprisingly sweet on his tongue.
A pleasant warmth spread through his body.
For a moment, he expected some dramatic transformation.
Perhaps water would suddenly gather around him.

He remembered the overwhelming fear and anger he had experienced during that fight.
Perhaps those emotions had somehow pushed his powers beyond their limits.
Or maybe it had simply been luck.
He honestly didn’t know.
After several more attempts, Darren finally lowered his hand.
The water splashed back into the pond.
A disappointed expression appeared on his face.
Darren shook his head before letting out a light chuckle.
"I felt nothing," he replied. "Maybe the liquid was only meant for you. It probably has no effect on me."
"Damn..." Ivy murmured under her breath, releasing a disappointed sigh.
Anyways..." Darren began as he rose to his feet.
Walking toward the fish pond, he reached inside and caught ten large fish with practiced ease. Afterwards, he headed to Ivy’s farm where he selected two healthy chickens.
A few minutes later, the chickens had been slaughtered, plucked clean of their feathers, and thoroughly washed after their intestines had been removed.
The fish received the same treatment.
Soon, Darren was standing in the outdoor kitchen area, carefully preparing dinner.
The crackling sound of roasting fish filled the air.
The chickens slowly turned over the fire while sweet potatoes sizzled in a large pan nearby.
Various spices coated the meat, releasing an irresistible aroma that drifted throughout the entire compound.
The scent was so strong and inviting that it wasn’t long before the base door suddenly opened.
