Chapter 100: Chapter 100 Intruders.

At noon, Ivy set out from her shelter after making sure her children, as well as Pearl, were safe and comfortable. The system’s protective shield covered the bunker as usual, giving her some peace of mind as she and Sunny made their way toward the mountain.

This time, Ivy deliberately avoided the back mountain near the villa area and the western KR base she remembered from her past life. Instead, she headed south toward the city.

The moment they arrived, Ivy parked her armored vehicle by the roadside before stepping out with Sunny beside her.

The instant her boots touched the ground, monsters emerged from every direction.

Low growls echoed through the streets as deformed creatures rushed toward her with twisted limbs and bloodied mouths. However, before any of them could even get close....

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ivy pulled the trigger repeatedly, each bullet piercing directly through a monster’s head.

One after another, their bodies collapsed heavily onto the ground.

The deafening roars of monsters filled the air, creating an atmosphere terrifying enough to make ordinary people lose their minds. Yet Ivy remained completely calm as she continued firing without hesitation.

Nearby survivors screamed while running around frantically in search of shelter. Some of them took advantage of the opening Ivy had created to escape into safer areas.

The thick scent of blood and decay polluted the air so badly it was almost unbearable, but Ivy could already tell she was slowly getting used to it.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Without stopping, Ivy continued moving forward while killing every monster in sight. Most of them were only low-level creatures, not the high-level ones capable of producing valuable monster cores.

That alone proved one thing.

High-level monsters were still extremely rare at this stage of the apocalypse.

Ding!

{Congratulations, Host. You’ve earned a total of two thousand points.}

A bright smile instantly spread across Ivy’s face.

The points she had accumulated had already surpassed the price needed to purchase another rifle like the one she currently used. However, Ivy had no intention of buying it yet.

What she truly wanted was the Monster Inhibitor.

Unfortunately, that item cost one hundred million points.

Just thinking about the terrifying amount made her sigh inwardly.

Still, she had already cleared over twenty hectares of land at an unbelievable speed, killing monsters almost effortlessly. Even so, Ivy knew she still had to remain careful.

Not every monster attacked openly.

Some preferred hiding in the shadows before striking unexpectedly.

After scanning the surroundings and noticing no one nearby, Ivy calmly headed toward one of the largest malls in the city.

Back before the apocalypse, the building had stood elegantly, filled with life and luxury.

Now, it was nothing more than a ruined shell.

Broken glass littered the ground while abandoned vehicles blocked the entrance. Blood stains covered several walls, and the silence inside the mall felt strangely eerie.

Yet Ivy did not hesitate even for a second before dashing inside.

The mall still contained countless supplies.

Food.

Luxury outfits.

Designer bags.

Shoes.

Accessories.

Even expensive jewelry remained untouched in certain sections.

Without wasting time, Ivy raised her hand and snapped her fingers.

Immediately, the goods inside the mall began disappearing at an astonishing speed as they were sucked directly into the system storage.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Entire shelves vanished instantly.

Boxes of canned food disappeared.

Rows of clothing evaporated into thin air.

Even heavy refrigerators and stacked supplies were absorbed effortlessly.

Ivy did not even bother walking around anymore. She simply stood in place, repeatedly snapping her fingers while the system collected everything around her.

Within minutes, the once fully stocked mall had become completely empty.

Only dusty floors and abandoned shelves remained behind.

Satisfied, Ivy finally walked out of the building.

“Hmmm...” she hummed thoughtfully, resting a hand against her chin. “What should I do next?”

Just then....

Ding!

A holographic territory map suddenly appeared before her eyes.

The moment Ivy looked at it, her expression changed slightly.

Three vans were heading directly toward her bunker.

Panic instantly rose within her heart.

Although the system’s protective shield still covered the bunker, Ivy could not stop herself from worrying about her children.

What if something went wrong?

A dangerous glint flashed across Ivy’s eyes.

If those idiots truly planned to invade her bunker then she does not mind teaching them a lesson they would never forget.

Besides, she was already done expanding her territory for today and collecting supplies.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with dealing with a few rude humans too.

“Let’s go, Sunny!” Ivy voiced out sharply.

Without wasting another second, she immediately ran toward her armored vehicle.

“Bark! Bark!”

Sunny barked excitedly as she chased after Ivy, her tail wagging energetically while she leaped into the armored vehicle as well.

The moment Ivy got inside, she started the engine without hesitation.

The heavy vehicle sped off instantly, racing through the ruined streets at high speed as Ivy attempted to return to the bunker before the intruders arrived.

Meanwhile, inside one of the large trucks approaching Ivy’s bunker, a group of men dressed in military uniforms sat exhausted and injured.

All of them had just barely escaped a brutal battle against a horde of monsters.

And unfortunately...

They had lost badly.
