Chapter 309: Preparations (3)

"Good morning Cherry-" freewёbn૦νeɭ.com

"Aurora!" Cherry exclaimed at the top of her lungs. She ran to the front door of her shop to hug the woman she missed from the moment she left. "I have missed you so much."

Aurora tried her best to breathe in the middle of Cherry’s tight squeeze. "C-Cherry, you are squeezing-"

Aurora was saved by Vincent practically ripping Cherry off of her. "Thank you," she said, taking deep breaths. To think it wouldn’t be Minnie to kill her but Cherry.

"Oh right. My bad. I forget how strong I am but I have missed you so much. The next time you can Vincent are going on some great adventure I am coming along. I do not like being left out of all the fun. First with Graham and now with whatever this adventure was for. At least I had fun being the one to make your wedding dress. Get out of my shop Vincent," Cherry shooed him out. "The groom must not see the bride."

"Have werewolves started that tradition?"Aurora asked as this was news to her. She recalled that werewolves got married in a completely different way. It involved them being covered in special tattoos outdoors and at some point shifting into a wolf so a wedding dress was pointless.

"We haven’t. You are not a wolf to follow tradition so I figured you would want it to be like what the humans do," said Vincent.

"Oh, thank you," Aurora replied. She was happy to hear Vincent had switched it up so she could wear a wedding dress.

"I will see you in an hour," Vincent said, kissing Aurora’s cheek as a goodbye. He glared at Cherry for already chasing him away.

"I am not scared of you even if you are the alpha!" Cherry yelled at Vincent when his back was turned. She flinched and looked at her now interesting roof after Vincent turned around to face her.

Cherry sighed in relief when the door closed. "Thank goodness. Honestly Aurora, it is not too late to change your mind about marrying him. I value him as a friend but I don’t find him to be husband material. He would make your heart rush but not in a good way."

"I won’t marry anyone else but Vincent. Just like how you won’t marry anyone but Victor."

Cherry blushed. "I can’t argue with that. Victor and I just started to date but I would not mind him proposing to me soon since we have known each other for many days. All this wedding planning Vincent left us to do has me in the mood to get married but I am afraid if I bring it up to Victor he might get scared it is too soon and avoid me. I have to say I hope Victor is excited about marriage as Vincent is."

"When you least expect it, Victor will propose to you. Then you and I will officially be family. I’m surprised we did not come back to the two of you already married," said Aurora.

"Victor was so busy taking Vincent’s place and watching over the new walls going up that we did not have time for each other. Please follow me," Cherry told Aurora. They needed to go to one of her private rooms for Aurora to try on the three wedding dress ideas she created. "At first I was upset that we started this relationship but we’re not spending time together. Then I realized who I was getting involved with."

Cherry locked the front door and changed the sign to close before taking Aurora to a changing room. "Victor isn’t the alpha but he is still a Lawerence. He has a lot of responsibility and he has mentioned not wanting to run away from it. I have to get used to him not being around so much. I shouldn’t be complaining when your husband is busier."

"I don’t find Vincent to be that busy. He is most at home to work and will only have to go out to check the gates or inspect the land to make sure no enemies are near. While he works I will find a way to entertain myself," Aurora said not finding an issue.

"What about the times he will have to go out and meet other packs? The journey is long and he will not want to bring you along. You will be home alone."

"Then we shall have children to keep me company," Aurora softly spoke but Cherry heard it.

"Children? Have the two of you already talked about having your own?" Cherry practically squealed, more excited about the children than the wedding now. "We have been waiting years for Vincent to have a child and now it is almost here. More importantly, I will be an aunt. I can’t wait to make clothes for the little ones. I have started to consider opening a shop for children. Back on topic. Will you have children soon?"

Aurora nodded her head. "Vincent had been asking me about having children soon. He even wanted to start trying last night. Soon after the wedding, there might be good news. Hopefully. I am worried about my ability to have one since this body I have isn’t like other bodies. I formed it out of my own will and I can’t make wishes for myself plus I have promised a wish to my sister so Vincent cannot use it."

"Then you shall have fun trying until you have one. You are a part of the moon Goddess so there is no way you wouldn’t be able to have a child. You shall have many and when Artemis returns she will welcome them with open arms."

Aurora could tell Cherry had never met Artemis since the Goddess disliked children. She didn’t think it would matter that the children came from someone she created. Perhaps, Artemis might since she had fallen in love with a human.

"Alrighty," Cherry clapped her hands as they had a more important matter to deal with. "Strip for me, Aurora. So you can try on the dress," she snickered after Aurora gave her a confused look.
