Chapter 266: Finding Regina (3)
"This is odd," Aurora looked at Vincent. It had not been long enough since Claude found them work for Timothy to suddenly not be expecting any new workers. "Regina is definitely here and the Hamiltons know it. Something happened after Claude found us work. We have no choice but to sneak in when the outside becomes darker."
"We have to turn around and go offroad. This will be extremely dangerous now because we both have no idea how to maneuver our way quickly throughout the property. If he has gone to this extent to prevent anyone from entering his gates, your sister must be safe. One of her family members must have done something drastic."
"Minnie would send Samuel or Regina’s father to retrieve her. Timothy would have no right to hold a woman he is not married to when her family is requesting her return. However, Timothy’s connection to the palace will make it hard for the Hamiltons to fight against him. Samuel will be the best bet they have to convince Regina to return," Aurora concluded.
Aurora wasn’t certain what the relationship between Samuel and Regina was like now. Although they bicker, they were still siblings but it seemed like Regina had no one to turn to if she had to run to Timothy.
"I don’t want to make the assumption that she is safe. I have to see it for myself. We will go late in the night and sneak in. It would also be good for us to get rid of anyone watching Timothy’s home. Once we have Regina, we will begin plotting to go into the Hamilton home and get rid of them once and for all," Aurora said.
It wouldn’t be as easy as she made it sound but she was determined to get rid of the people who trapped her.
"We should get off the road quickly before they find us to be suspicious. Come," Vincent took Aurora’s hand and led her away from Timothy’s property. If Aurora wanted to see Regina safe with her own eyes, he would make it happen once the moon is in the sky.

Vincent and Aurora hid in the trees separating Timothy’s home from his neighbor’s homes until the moon rose into the sky and it was hard for anyone to see them running up the sides of Timothy’s home to jump over the gates.
"Wait," Vincent stopped running when the sound of someone approaching the direction they were in could be heard. They were relying on his heightened senses to know when to run and when to hide.
Vincent listened quietly to the number of footsteps in order to count how many guards they needed to avoid. Aurora used her powers to make the bush they were using to cover themselves start to grow to provide them with a little bit more cover.
"There are seven guards in the direction we are going in. They seem to follow some kind of pattern in their head to know when to switch spots rather than use time. Two of them aren’t moving as quickly as the others. We’ll climb the gate when it is their time to rotate. Are you ready?"
Aurora nodded. She was a tiny bit nervous about getting caught since she was not used to sneaking into someplace like this. Vincent was because of the many times he snuck into where the vampires lived. They did not need Timothy’s guards alerting him of trespassers right now. It would make things so much harder to find Regina.
"Run towards it," Vincent quickly stood up followed by Aurora.
They ran towards the part of the gate where there was the least light. Vincent quickly helped Aurora over and then effortlessly climbed the gate. They then ran to a wall to be out of sight from the two guards slowly switching their positions.
"Here," Vincent whispered to get Aurora’s attention as she was watching the guards. He spotted a path they could take leading up to a window. "These men might be good fighters but they have too many blind spots surrounding his home. When we separate, you need to focus on your surroundings rather than just searching for your sister. I do not want you to get hurt."
Vincent was against the two of them separating but knew it had to be done if they wanted to cover the entire house quickly. If one of them found Regina, they would just need to take off the glamor ao that Timothy could call off his guards.
"I will cover downstairs where there are more guards. Do not stay around if you did not find her. I love you," he kissed her forehead then ran from her side when he had the opportunity to not be spotted.
"The big bad wolf is such a softy," Aurora smiled.
She looked all around before running towards a door to go inside the house. The plan was to not stay for longer than an hour. The longer they stayed, the higher possibility there was for someone to spot either one of them.
"Please be somewhere out in the open Regina."
Thanks to the clothes Claude provided for them to blend in as servants for Timothy, Aurora would not look suspicious but there would be trouble if she was seen by someone who knows what all the servants looked like.
Aurora stumbled upon stairs leading to the second floor where she was meant to be searching for Regina.
"Why didn’t the two of us think to ask those witches for a spell to make us invisible or something? Why did I have to lose that power?" Aurora asked herself.
She was once nothing but a shadow, capable of sneaking into places Artemis wanted information from. Her human body was now a curse when she desired to be secretive.

Aurora kept her head low when two maids suddenly appeared.
"I hope so. I don’t want to go to the young master’s room right now when he has a guest. He looked angry today."
’Luck is on my side,’ Aurora smiled.
