Chapter 98: Chapter 98
The crowd of students slowly started heading to the open space in front of the temporary stage. It was less than an hour before the sun would set and it was finally time for medals to be given out to the winners of the various competitions.
This also meant that all the students were heading back to the Field again, even those that had gone as far out as the college grounds.
Alois fell into this category, he had to return to the Field to accept his reward so reluctantly he dragged himself out of bed to get dressed.
Cecil rolled over drowsily when Alois left the bed they had been sharing. "Where are you going?"
Alois looked away from his wardrobe with a pleasant expression. "Did I wake you?"
Cecil was dressed in his silk shirt and lying in his bed with his marks all over him. It made Alois want to forfeit his medal and just get back in bed with him but he couldn’t do that.
"No." Cecil yawned and stretched, still looking sleepy.
"It should be about time for medals to be awarded," Alois explained. "I’ll go get mine and be right back."
Cecil blinked all of his drowsiness away when he registered that Alois would be leaving. "I’ll come with you." He said, shooting upright and scrambling off the bed to get to his wardrobe.
"You don’t have to." Alois reminded him, absently buttoning up his sleeves while keeping all of his attention on Cecil.
"But I want to." Cecil countered, picking out a fresh pair of his uniform only to catch Alois staring at him intently. "Don’t stare." He scolded, disappearing inside his bathroom to get dressed.
Alois watched him hide away and resumed dressing, Cecil was starting to act a little like himself. He had been surprisingly tranquil ever since their very innocent tryst in his bathroom.
Even during their late lunch, he had remained calm and sedate, and a little too nice to be the Alpha he knew. He hadn’t broken him, had he?
Cecil stood in his bathroom with Alois’ shirt clutched in his hands, his own uniform properly kept on the counter.
He had been undressing in front of the mirror when a shocking sight made him freeze up. There were bite marks on almost every available stretch of skin that he had, even his thighs weren’t spared.
’Would he have to get Alois a chew toy?’ He thought with concern because there was no reason for the Alpha to about eat him.
The sight of the bite marks made the memory of how he had gotten them to burn through his mind. The steamy heat of the shower stall, slicked bodies pressed up against each other, his cries of Alois’ name...
Cecil smacked himself lightly on the cheek, he couldn’t afford to get distracted. He got into his clothes, his rosy cheeks darkening further when he realized that his cravat wouldn’t hide all the marks on his neck. Maybe he should stay behind after all.
He stepped out of his bathroom gingerly and immediately got pushed up against a wall, Alois leaning down to claim his lips.
Cecil had enough presence of mind to push him away, instinctively reaching out to brush Alois’ hair out of his face. "You’re going to miss your award." He said in a soft breathy voice that was unlike him. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
"Fine, after we return." Alois decided, taking his wrist and heading out.

Cecil held onto Alois’ arm with his free hand when they got to the Field, at ease although he should have otherwise been strung out. He found that when he was with Alois, the thoughts he believed others had of him were chased away.
He was left all alone briefly when Alois went to receive his medal. He was still yet to regret it but maybe that was because Alois couldn’t go a few minutes without touching him, that was enough to muddy anyone’s thinking facilities.
Just as Alois returned to his side and took his hand again, Cecil returning the gesture and holding his arm, a familiar voice rang out.
"Oh Alois! Where have you been?" Giselle’s grating voice called out as she hurried over, she must have seen Alois on stage and then tracked him down.
"I’ve been searching endlessly for you," She pouted, heading straight for Alois who sidestepped her. "I even asked Slade he just coldly ignored me, how rude, I’ll make sure to report this to..."
"Have something against my brother?" Alois leaned menacingly in her direction, his green eyes cold.
Giselle knew when to shut up. "No, no I don’t." She quickly said, her gaze moving to Cecil.
Alois noticed this and immediately jumped on the opportunity. "I don’t think you had a proper introduction earlier." He said, squeezing Cecil’s hand. "Giselle, this is Cecil, my boyfriend." He introduced proudly.
Giselle scoffed. "That’s ridiculous, it’s not..." She faltered when she saw the bite mark on Cecil’s neck. That was definitely not there before, was that what Alois had been doing this entire time?
Ticked off, she turned on Cecil who held on to Alois, a placid look in his eyes. "Get your filthy commoner hands off hi..."
Alois tutting cut her off. "Careful there, Giselle, you don’t want to get on my bad side and you definitely don’t want to be mouthing off to the mate of the future General."
This earned him stunned looks from both Cecil and Giselle, the noble Omega biting her lips to keep her words in.
"I made a misstep," She forced herself to say, glaring at Cecil with hateful eyes. "Pardon me, I’ll take my leave now."
Cecil couldn’t care less about the petty peeves of a spoiled noble, he was more concerned about what Alois had said. "Mate?" He repeated, his face catching aflame. "Who’s your mate?"
Alois’ response was hearty laughter, he had been a little worried because Cecil had been a little too docile. It was nice to see him as feisty as always.
"Don’t laugh." Cecil scolded, giving in to the urge to smack him.
"So, not mates but you’re fine with being introduced as my boyfriend?" He teased.
Cecil paused, realization hitting him that that was truly what Alois had introduced him as. "I’m not..."
"Cecil!" Perry’s voice interrupted their squabble, the Alpha hurrying over to them with Leeson in tow.
