Chapter 52: Chapter 52

Perry and Leeson stumbled backward when a dark-faced Alois opened the door and glared them down, his jaw tight.

"I-Is Cecil in?" Perry forced out.

Cecil turned on his side away from the door when he heard the familiar voice, groaning inwardly.

When Alois first kissed him, he had been jostled but that was nothing compared to when he deepened the kiss. Cecil felt a little lightheaded and he wasn’t sure if it was from a lack of air or Alois’ lips.

Cecil shot upright when he heard footsteps, he had to get over himself and take this chance to escape before Alois decided to continue the punishment. He would never get over it if he fainted like a sissy over an Alpha kissing him.

Perry took one look at his friend’s red face and became dismayed. "So you are sick after all?"

Some of Alois’ irritation at being interrupted faded away. "He is, you should let him rest." He said coolly resting his hand against the top of the doorframe. "I’ll take good care of him." He drawled. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

Perry had been the only one to step in, Leeson keeping his distance as he eyed Alois warily. He couldn’t say what exactly it was about Alois but the other Alpha unsettled him. Maybe it was the detached coldness in his eyes that flashed every now and then through the usual warmth.

Cecil shot out of bed so fast that he stumbled, "I’m fine!" He said in a rush, grabbing his cravat and waistcoat before pushing Perry out so that he couldn’t protest.

Alois smiled deviously as Cecil all but dashed out of the room, his friends in tow.

"Are you sure you’re alright Cecil?" Perry asked with utmost concern, trying to get a proper look at him.

Cecil hid his face with his cravat, so his voice came out muffled. "I’m fine."

"Are you sure?" Leeson joined in to prod even further. "Is your roommate not the General’s son that works for the Prince?"

Cecil stiffened, he had been so occupied with Alois ever since the scene at the cafeteria that he had forgotten about the existence of Henri. "I know, I can handle him." He pulled down the cravat to say confidently.

In addition to being quite dense, Leeson and Perry also had complete trust in Cecil.

"So what’s our next plan for Prince Henri?" Leeson whispered, excitement creeping on his face.

Perry was still concerned about Cecil’s complexion, it seemed to be getting better right under his eyes though so he made no more comments on it.

Cecil looked at Leeson like he had offered him a handful of dirt. "Nothing, I have to deal with Alois before anything else."

Leeson seemed even happier by this decision. "So what are we..."

"There’s no we." Cecil cut him off calmly, doing up his cravat. "I can handle him myself."

His throbbing lips mocked that sentence but he still had some dignity to uphold, he couldn’t let his two followers know of what he had to go through in Alois’ hands.

Henri narrowed his eyes up at Louis and Dio when they showed up at his dorm room at dinner time.

"Are you two done arguing?" He asked bluntly.

Louis ruffled his hair. "It wasn’t much of an argument."

"Look!" Dio offered his wrists, showing the black silk ties that were wrapped around them.

Both Henri and Louis did a double-take for different reasons.

"Strange fashion choice." Henri said exactly what he thought, not questioning the weird accessories.

Louis however was troubled, had Dio shown Henri his scars? It would be strange that Henri didn’t mention it then, wouldn’t it?

"...uis! Louis!"

The sound of his name jarred him out of his thoughts. "Yes?"

"Are you going to the dining room or not?" Henri asked impatiently.

Louis quickly stepped back so that Henri could leave his room. "Sorry, I got lost in thought." He apologized sheepishly.

Henri usually walked on the side so that Dio could be by Louis’ side but this time, Dio himself went over to Henri’s side, putting the Omega in their middle.

The only person that seemed to notice this was Louis while Henri was talking about how he hadn’t seen the monsters since lunch and how he was able to take a proper nap for the first time.

Louis forced himself to be a part of the conversation, he was just making things up, there was nothing different in the way Dio and Henri interacted, not that it mattered either way.

Unlike the others who had their club time interrupted, Audie and Valentin had spent the entire afternoon at the volleyball club actually practicing with the other club members.

It was a new club so they were yet to form a team to participate in competitions, it also meant that they were lax with rules and just played around, having fun.

After a quick shower, they both decided to go pick up Nael for dinner. Only Audie was surprised by Errol’s presence, Valentin seeming to expect it even.

"We’ve come to pick you up for dinner." Valentin announced after pleasantries.

Nael looked at Errol at this, hesitation on his face.

Errol was about to tell him to go off and eat without him when he was interrupted.

"You’re coming too." Valentin added.

Now Nael frowned, his brows knitting. "He doesn’t have to..."

"It’s fine, I don’t mind." Errol smiled, getting to his feet. "I just have to change." He tagged on, floating off.

Audie looked from Alpha to Alpha, disbelief on his face; they were all taking this so calmly like it was the norm. Errol seemed to have spent a full day in Nael’s dorm room and he was constantly in Nael’s clothes, what was going on?

"Are you two together?" He blurted out, narrowing his eyes.

Errol choked just as he was about to open the door to the bathroom, looking down to hide his flaming face while Nael stiffened a little distance away.

Valentin was the one to make a move, slapping Audie on the head. "That’s none of your business." He said calmly.

This diffused the tense air that had filled the room, Audie grumbling about how hard Valentin had hit him.

Errol pushed open the bathroom door and walked in with a soft sigh, Nael’s eyes lingering on him as he did.
