Chapter 37: Chapter 37
Cecil roused when he heard the door squeak open, still very self-conscious. He expected it to be Leeson and Perry returning from wherever they went off to so he didn’t bother checking, letting his eyes slip close again in hopes of getting more sleep.
"You need to try harder if you want to get away from me." Alois said casually, staring intently at Cecil.
Cecil jumped, feeling like ice-cold water had been doused down his back. "A-Alois? H-How did you... what are you doing here?" He demanded, sitting up to scramble backward.
"It’s well past lunchtime, you haven’t eaten." He stated, ignoring all of Cecil’s questions.
Cecil noted that he was less sore, he also noted that he would be forced to do whatever Alois asked because he didn’t want him to be found out by Perry and Leeson. "That’s hardly any of your concern." He gritted out, trying to sound nice. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
"That’s up to me to decide, there’s food back in our dorm room, you can either let me carry you there or kiss me." He explained the rules.
Cecil started to protest and then did a double take. "What kind of shitty options are those? I don’t want to go anywhere with you! I don’t care how you found this room or how you got in, just get out!" He exploded.
His life had constantly been going downhill ever since he bumped into Alois in the hallway on the first day. The tall Alpha was maddening and Cecil was at his wits’ end.
Alois had a solemn expression on his face "So you’re going with the kiss, I thought so." He murmured, moving closer.
Cecil caught a fright from this, scrambling off the bed he was on to put some distance between them. "Is there an empty space between your ears? I’m not picking either!"
As Alois started for Cecil, the door was kicked open. "Cecil! Are you... okay?" Perry trailed off when he caught sight of what was going on inside.
Leeson finally caught up, panting behind Perry. "What’s going on?"
Cecil froze in place, panic making his eyes big, this was the worst possible outcome.
"You’re Cecil’s friends, aren’t you?" Alois spoke up, breaking the silence. His entire demeanor changed when they were interrupted, he was no longer dangerous with hidden intentions, somehow managing to look completely harmless.
If Cecil hadn’t been under a constant barrage from Alois’ terrifying side he would have also been fooled.
Perry and Leeson beamed at this. "We are."
"I’m his roommate, Alois, I don’t know if he told you about me yet." He ruffled his hair, pulling off his act completely.
Cecil felt his soul leave his body, there was no saving him from Alois, he couldn’t let Leeson and Perry know about what was truly going on.
"Are you here to take him to the infirmary?" Perry innocently inquired, still visibly concerned about Cecil.
It also didn’t help that they chose to show up at a moment when Alois was making preposterous propositions and hunting down Cecil, he had gone a bright red shade again.
Alois glanced from Perry to Cecil, an evil light sparking in his eyes. "Yes, I am, he’s still protesting though so pardon my presumptuousness."
That was the only warning Cecil got before Alois closed the space in between them and swept him off his feet. "I’ll make sure to take him straight to the infirmary, you don’t need to worry about him."
Despair bloomed in Cecil’s dark eyes when all Perry and Leeson did was wave them off and close their door in his face.
Cecil covered his face with his hands, mortified at the manner in which he was carried. How had those two brain-dead morons he let follow him around not noticed anything off?
"Please put me down." He whispered in a small voice, as they walked down the hallway.
Alois leaned down. "So you’ll go for the second option?" He pointed out, darkness threading his voice.
Cecil choked, dying a little inside. As someone who specialized in talking his way out of unsavory situations, Alois was the one person he couldn’t use it on.
Alois chuckled at his silence. "Don’t make a fuss, I need to take you to the infirmary."
"Even though my legs work fine?" Cecil blurted out, his hands still over his face, making his words come out muffled.
"They do?" Alois asked, sounding disappointed.
Cecil died a little more, he could just hop down from Alois’ hold but he didn’t trust the aggravating Alpha to not try and kiss him. What kind of crazy Alpha would want to kiss another Alpha?
There was no winning with Alois, all roads led right to what he wanted.
So he was forced to remain right where he was till Alois walked all the way back to their shared dorm room. No one had batted an eyelid at this but Cecil couldn’t see this so he was drowning in mortification by the end of their short trip.
"This isn’t the infirmary." He grouched when Alois finally put him down.
"It can be, I’ll play nurse." Alois quipped, locking them in again.
Cecil wasn’t even sure what that meant but it unsettled him nonetheless. After just a few hours of letting Alois handle his punishment, he was starting to consider jail time just to escape him.
He ignored Alois, turning around to decide what to do next. A shower would be very much welcom...
A short scream slipped past his lips when he felt Alois try to undo the buttons of his dress shirt from behind. There was no reason for him to react like that, it compounded his mortification.
"What in the blazes are you doing?" He demanded, backing away from Alois, his arms wrapped protectively around his body.
Alois frowned. "Playing nurse?"
"For fuck’s sake." Cecil muttered under his breath. "You know what? Stay away from me, I’m going to clean up." He announced, turning to leave for his bathroom.
"Do you need your nurse to bathe you?" Alois’ hopeful voice dogged him.
"No!"
