Chapter 136: Chapter 136
**A/N: Honestly, I don’t know the rules of volleyball and I’m too dispirited to do in-depth research so bear with me. Also, it’s an unofficial club so its canon that they wouldn’t exactly go by the rules**
**A/N: Actually, scratch that I just did a brief Google search, and it’s quite simple... I can’t believe I’m penning down my thought process but... also they won’t be playing the game yet so I have no idea why I’m making such a fuss about it.** : )

Valentin expected Audie and Jacques to let go of his wrists before they even got out of the dorm building but was disappointed to find out that they both seemed to take it as a competition of sorts.
So they arrived at the dorm building all holding hands, it made Valentin feel a little silly and he had had enough. "Alright, let go of me, if you want to hold hands so much, hold each other." He said tartly, jabbing them where he knew would hurt.
Just as he predicted, they both let go of his wrists like they had been burnt, much to Valentin’s satisfaction. "I doubt there would be anyone there on the day of resumption." He mentioned, stepping inside.
The other two followed suit, shouldering each other as they did so. Valentin led the way to the indoor volleyball court, paying no attention to them. "After the first day of classes, you can come to apply to the club." He said to Jacques, opening the door.
It was on the first floor and the double doors opened up to a large room with high ceilings. It opened up into a mini lounge room, the indoor court to the left of it. Behind the lounge were a couple of doors that led to the changing rooms and the restrooms.
After showing off the volleyball court, Valentin led the way to their classes. They would be changing buildings in the new year so they also wanted to see their potential new classes.
Jacques would find out what class he would be put in at the start of the new week, and Audie made sure to be blatantly smug about the fact that he was in the same class as Valentin. freewebnoveℓ.com
Valentin watched them deliberately step on each other’s toes throughout the duration of the tour and by the time they returned to the Second Year dorm, he was at the end of his patience.
"See you both at lunch." He waved at them, hurrying up the stairs to his dorm room which was on the third floor.
He had yet to even see his roommate, leaving his dorm room as soon as he dropped off his luggage to meet up with the others at the cafeteria. It was merely a coincidence that he had run into Jacques on his way there.
Audie and Jacques shared a look after Valentin quickly disappeared up the stairs and immediately separated, heading in opposite directions only to converge at the other end of the foyer because they both had to go up the stairs to the second floor.

"Do you think Henri is alright?" Louis mused, pulling Dio out of his light doze.
They had joined their beds together and were currently lying in each other’s arms trying to take a nap before lunch.
Dio glanced down at Louis who was laying against his chest, a weary patience in his mismatched eyes. "You can pick him up for lunch like you always do to confirm for yourself." He said placidly, knowing that nothing else would convince Louis.
He knew because he tried, he had spent the time after they returned from the cafeteria reassuring his worried boyfriend that Henri was just fine but he was clearly not convinced because he kept asking every five minutes.
This seemed to be enough for him and he let his head drop against his bare chest with a barely audible sigh, his eyes finally slipping shut.
Dio carded his hands through Louis’ golden brown hair, holding him close. The silk ties around his wrists were gone, he didn’t need them anymore. As a matter of fact, he often forgot about the slightly raised bumps on the inside of his wrists.
Louis was wearing his shirt and they were tangled up on the bed much like they slept after they all moved to the manor. He almost couldn’t remember a time he didn’t sleep like this, Lou’s hair tickling his neck, their breathing syncing, chests moving in tandem.
Louis slept off before Dio did, the dark-haired Alpha waking up less than two hours later when he felt Louis leaving the bed. His long black hair was splayed out against the pillows, black and green eyes blinking groggily. "Is it time for lunch already?"
Louis was already taking his shirt off, revealing fading red marks around his nape, "It is, I’ll go down to get Henri first, you can take your time and meet us when you’re ready."
Dio was still sleepy but he knew there was no sleeping all by himself, it would feel far too cold sleeping all alone, so he sat up and hung his legs off the side of the bed, blinking myopically.
Louis laughed softly at his dazed expression, pressing a kiss into his hair as he walked past him to the door. Dressing up was quick, he still had his pants on so all he needed to do was put on his dark blue dress shirt and throw on his waistcoat.
A cravat was unnecessary as well as an overcoat, so he just finger-combed his hair and went off on his way. He would have to go down a flight of stairs to get to Henri’s dorm room.
Alois had said to give the Omega some space, surely two hours was enough space? Not like it mattered, Louis was checking up on him no matter what.
At the location where Louis was headed, two Alphas stood toe to toe, appraising each other with cold glares.
Alexander flicked a brow, "If it isn’t the pleb that got hit," He said in a cynical voice that was a far cry from the gentle tranquil tone he used around Henri. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, "What did you have to do to get someone as reserved as Henri to go that far?"
Claude stood on the other side of the door like it was the door that was keeping them from each other’s throats. "That’s none of your business." He said with a calm he didn’t feel. "Henri is going to see right through your shallow plan to form an alliance for your father."
Alexander laughed at this, true mirth in the chilling sound. "And you think you’re a better choice?" He asked, repeatedly going for Claude’s weak spot.
Just as Claude was about to throw all caution to the wind and lunge across the space in between them, a third party walked up. It was none other than Louis who looked very confused to find them both standing in front of Henri’s dorm room looking murderous and making no move to knock.
It made him immensely suspicious, he had every right to be worried earlier, Henri wasn’t safe around these two. He eyed them up, narrowing his eyes in disapproval at their presence.
They both froze in turn, not quite sure what to make of him, he didn’t say a word to them so they kept quiet as well, looking to see what he would do.
Louis just walked right up to the door and knocked confidently, "Henri? It’s Louis!" He called.
Just as he said his name, there was a telltale patter of feet which told that Henri was clearly hurrying over to let him in. He shot the two tall Alphas on either side of the door evil looks again, he didn’t care if they were both in positions of power, if they hurt Henri, he was using his rolling pin on them. Colette had thought him a thing on two on how to use it as an effective weapon.
The door barely opened fully before a slender hand reached through the space to drag Louis in, Henri slamming the door right after him and locking it up again.
Louis had questions in his eyes as Henri led him away from the bed, "Are they bothering you? Should I report this?" He asked with seriousness.
Henri frowned, "They?" He had merely been trying to avoid Alexander and was waiting impatiently for Louis to show up as he always did so he could use him as an excuse to escape the Alpha Prince. "There’s more than one person?"
Louis looked even more concerned by this, were they stalking Henri now? "There is... that’s it! I’m making a report." He whipped around, intending to follow through with his words.
"There’s no need for that," Henri was quick to stop him, easily guessing who the other person might be. "Just tell them that you’ll be taking me to lunch instead, I’d rather not see either of them." He said, settling down on the edge of his bed.
Louis didn’t seem to think that this mode of approach was enough but he agreed nonetheless, "Fine," He huffed, heading to the door.
