Chapter 132: Chapter 132

"I saw him arrive and he was dressed in dark blue so I’d say he is in our year, he also talked to your parents, Henri..."

Henri’s scowl darkened at this, it was highly unlikely that his parents wouldn’t have informed him if they were aware. "Good for the fellow." He grumbled.

Louis looked sheepish, "You don’t sound very happy about it."

"It doesn’t matter how I feel about it," Henri stated bluntly, fiddling with his drink. freёwebnoѵel.com

"Oh, look it’s Errol!" Dio spoke up, the only one actually keeping an eye out for the others.

They all looked in the direction that Dio was pointing to, finding Errol walking over to their table with Nael beside him. Fortunately, they seemed to have already sighted them so they didn’t need need to be waved over.

Nobody pointed out the fact that it was odd for Nael to come with Errol as they were in different dorm buildings. The newcomers getting themselves acquainted with the rest of the table.

Audie immediately turned on the new set that could have possibly not heard of the news. "I found out who that strange student we met at the college gates was." He said to Errol, sounding pleased with himself like he had done some great achievement.

"Oh I know who he is, he’s royalty from a neighboring country, some Prince Alexander." Errol said flippantly, sounding like he didn’t care much.

Audie immediately deflated, he had been looking forward to surprising more people with the news.

Nael on the other end, completely didn’t about this strange Prince, more interested in getting Errol to drink something.

Errol finally acquiesced, Nael hopping out of his seat to get said drinks before his boyfriend changed his mind.

"Oi, Nael, get me something too-" Audie called after his friend who merely pretended not to hear him, resolutely marching forward. "Douchebag." He muttered under his breath.

"Do you know him, Henri?" Errol asked, returning to their previous conversation.

Henri found it difficult to be upset at Errol but his expression soured nonetheless, "I don’t," He said sharply but then added in a gentler tone. "A little, we might have bumped into each other at a few balls but we’re no more than passing acquaintances."

Errol immediately backtracked, sensing that he needed to step lightly. "I wonder why he’s attending the academy," He mused to himself.

When Errol said that, all the occupants of the table looked right at Henri like they expected him to give them answers.

"Don’t ask me any questions about him again." Henri said in a dark voice, unhappy about how everyone seemed hellbent on linking him with the stiff-necked Alpha.

Right at that moment like they had popped out of nowhere, Valentin and Jacques showed up together. The table had been too absorbed in their conversation to notice them walking over.

Henri, Louis, and Dio knew about Jacques, although they were yet to see him, so this wasn’t entirely a shocking meeting.

"Henri! Henri!" Valentin excitedly came over to his side, draping himself over the Omega. "Are you friends with Prince Alexander?"

The others immediately tried to hush him but it was too late, there was no saving Valentin’s blunder.

"What’s going on?" Jacques asked in confusion, taking a seat.

Henri reached above his head to grab a tight hold of Valentin’s dirty-blond hair with both his hands, he pulled the Alpha forward to his eye level with that firm grip. "What do you think?" He asked blankly.

All Valentin needed was a glimpse of the anger in Henri’s eyes, "I’ll take that as a no, please let me go." He begged anxiously. fгeewebnovёl.com

Henri did as he asked, "Don’t ask me about him again." He repeated himself, jabbing a finger at Valentin in particular. "If you have a question about Alexander, why don’t you ask him yourself..." He started to go on a rant only to trail off at the peculiar look on his friends’ faces.

They had all looked at him when he started talking but gradually their stares moved upward until they were looking past him.

Henri inwardly cursed, "He’s behind me, isn’t he?"

"I didn’t know that Your Highness considered me close enough to address me so casually." A gratingly familiar voice breached his ears.

Coincidentally, the cafeteria became suspiciously quiet, almost like the entire school was listening in on their conversation. It wasn’t often that they got to see the future heirs of two countries interact.

Henri slowly turned around, not even bothering to fix a polite smile on his face. "What a pleasant surprise, I didn’t expect to run into you here." He strung together some socially acceptable words into a sentence.

Alexander Felton was really tall, so much so that Henri found himself getting to his feet so as not to give himself a crick in his neck from looking up at him. He wore his uniform like a coronation outfit, sea blue eyes placid.

"It was merely chance that brought us together," He said smoothly, offering his hand.

Henri wore a grimace, looking like he would rather walk away from the conversation entirely than give his hand to Alexander. But he knew there was no getting out of this, it was why he wasn’t the biggest fan of the Prince.

He had no idea if Alexander genuinely wasn’t aware or if he faked it, either way, it was insufferable to deal with. If he stood here for a full minute just staring blankly at Alexander, the Prince would still hold out his hand to Henri.

Henri also couldn’t guess if he was being dense or he just wasn’t taking no for an answer, it didn’t matter either way again because it was extremely irritating. For someone like Henri who avoided people his whole life and managed to get most people to leave him alone by being standoffish, being chased around by a dense Alpha Prince who never left him alone no matter what he did was like bumping into an immovable wall.

He also wasn’t just reluctant to take Alexander’s hand because it would mean that he was interested in a conversation, it was mostly because he didn’t like the way the other Prince held his hand. Everyone else shook his hand but the damnable Alpha Prince kissed the back of his hand, it was a little embarrassing.

Just as he finally gave in and lifted his hand to offer it to Alexander, someone else stepped in between the both of them. Henri only had a few seconds to process the familiar face standing in front of him.

His expression changed several times in the span of a few seconds, from disbelief to shock to horror and finally to anger. Without warning, he lifted his hand higher and smacked the newcomer across the face, hard.
