Chapter 110: Chapter 110
Henri frowned as he did a quick sweep of the ballroom for the umpteenth time and still couldn’t find either Dio or Louis. He had intended on getting something to eat and had gotten distracted by searching for his friends.
He changed his search to the others and the only pair he found was Audie and Valentin, Errol and Nael were also nowhere to be found. ’Just where did all his friends go?’ Fortunately, he had been left alone by the other students, most too intimidated to approach him.
Somehow he knew that all his friends would be fine so he wasn’t worried about them, walking over to the food area where finger foods were laid out on a wide table. He took a plate and took as much as he wanted, and by the time he found his way back to the table, Louis and Dio were already back.
"Where did you both go?" He asked, taking a seat.
They both shared a look and gave noncommittal shrugs.
Henri genuinely wasn’t that curious about where they had been as long as they were both safe, he was more interested in Nael’s and Errol disappearance. Although that shouldn’t surprise him much, the two of them were always in their own bubble.

Somehow Errol had coaxed Nael into getting on the small bed with him, the bed was far too small for them to lay comfortably side by side so Errol was partially draped over him. freeweɓnovel.cøm
Nael listened to him hiccup occasionally with a small smile, ’who knew that Errol got separation anxiety when he was drunk?’ The water had helped to sober him up a bit but he would still have to sleep off the rest of the effects to fully recover.
His smile faded away when he remembered how this had happened, he couldn’t help but feel like there was more to the ’joke’ than the Alpha said it was. Nael knew who he was, he was one of Seton’s lackeys, Nael just hadn’t bothered to learn his name.
It was why trepidation beat an unsteady rhythm in his chest, anybody involved with Seton was certainly bad news. He glanced down at Errol’s flushed sleepy face, he had no intention of letting Errol out of his sight again.
Like Errol could tell that there were eyes on him, he looked up, a dazed look in his eyes. "Nael," He slurred on a big hiccup that seemed closer to a gag.
Nael eyed him suspiciously, humor creeping back in his hazel eyes. "Are you feeling nauseous?"
Errol slowly blinked like his ears stopped working, "Wha- hic- what’s that?"
Nael tightened his hold around Errol’s waist, "Nevermind, do you need something?"
The light came back into Errol’s eyes, "Yes, I want you to kiss me." He said with a serious expression, sounding really lucid for someone who was previously slurring his words. Errol had lifted himself slightly, an expectant expression on his face.
It was Nael’s turn to hiccup, he might have choked on thin air after processing Errol’s words. He cupped Errol’s face with both his hands, "Sure you do."
"So where is it?" Errol asked in that same somber manner, looking around like he expected the kiss to jump him from the side.
Nael had to stifle his laughter, Errol was so adorable. "After you’re all better."
"But I’m not sick." Errol said with conviction, chasing it with another gagging sound.
Nael sat upright at this, resting against the headboard, the last thing he needed was him throwing up all over them. Errol chased after him, climbing up his body so unsteadily that Nael had to hold him.
"Actually, wait, I might be a little sick." Errol corrected, sounding very green.
That was all the go ahead that Nael needed, he got out of bed with Errol in his arms and headed for the little cubicle of a bathroom the small plain room had.
He made it in time, supporting Errol who was bent over the sink. He helped him keep his hair out of his face and cleaned him up after.
Errol held on tightly to Nael after the fog lifted from his eyes, shivering like a drowned cat. Lucidity came with a splitting headache and self-awareness, it made tears burn Errol’s eyes, ’Nael must think that he’s such a nuisance.’
Nael settled back in the bed, positioning Errol so that he rested against him, the both of them partially upright and leaning against the head board.
Errol tried to get off, his tears hurt so much that they might as well be crystal droplets leaving a trail of blood. "I’m going to get you wet."
Nael had been expecting this, he knew that Errol would beat himself up over something that wasn’t his fault. "I know, I don’t care." He said calmly, stopping him from leaving.
Errol looked up at him and wiped his eyes, "My head hurts and I’m sure I look ugly-"
"You don’t," Nael countered with a steady voice, cupping Errol’s face. "I’m the one looking at you and I think you look beautiful..."
The tears Errol tried to wipe brimmed and spilled over, his voice was muffled by his hands over his face. "You don’t have to be nice."
Nael took his hands away, the edges of Errol’s strawberry blonde hair were wet, and his face was flushed. "You’re right I don’t, but my beautiful boyfriend owes me a kiss..."
Errol cringed visibly, dropping his head on Nael’s shoulders in a bid to hide his face. "Did I really say that?" He groaned lightly.
Nael chuckled lightly, "Now I’m hurt."
Errol straightened up with genuine concern in his eyes, "But I meant it." He quickly said, burning red at his words.
Nael smiled slow, pulling Errol closer to place a kiss on his damp forehead. "I know."
At the end of the Sports Ball, the Professors were lax with the students and let them file into the carriages in whatever order they liked, regardless of class. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
The carriages were substantially quieter on the trip back, horses drawing the wooden carriages over cobbled roads.
