Chapter 195: Chapter 126: Rampaging Battle Machine, Crushing a Rank 2 Priest

Aboard the Bronze War Chariot.

A faint, transparent halo spread out, enveloping the entire vehicle and shielding it from the raging winds.

Fei Rui stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his gaze fixed on the outpost in the distance. His expression was grim.

Beside him, Salon carefully studied the Priest’s expression and asked tentatively, "Sir, should we call for more chariots?"

"No need," Fei Rui said flatly. "I’m the only Priest on patrol within a hundred-mile radius. The enemy is an Official Wizard. It’s useless no matter how many Apprentice Priests or Tier One Legendary Knights we bring."

Salon nodded in agreement and said no more.

Soon, the chariot closed to within a thousand meters of the outpost.

From this distance, the people on the chariot could see the situation at the outpost clearly.

When they saw Pei Ze and his two companions standing calmly amidst a field of corpses, waiting leisurely, everyone on the chariot—including Fei Rui—was involuntarily stunned.

Snapping back to his senses, Fei Rui’s face darkened.

Salon’s expression was also extremely grim.

It was his first time seeing such an audacious outsider. After killing their men, he was actually swaggering about the outpost. From the looks of it, he was clearly waiting for them to arrive, planning to take them all out as well.

He was truly arrogant to the extreme, completely looking down on them.

Fei Rui took a silver badge from his sleeve. Cradling it in his palm as if it were a precious treasure, he aimed it at Pei Ze from afar.

A faint, snow-white light flashed across the surface of the silver badge, and a cold sneer appeared on Fei Rui’s face.

"I was wondering how powerful this arrogant fool could be. Turns out he’s just a Level 1 Gaseous Wizard!"

Salon was taken aback for a moment, then an undisguised look of mockery surfaced on his face.

’If he’s just a Level 1 Gaseous Wizard, then we really don’t need reinforcements.’

Fei Rui had fought against Wizards many times. If not ten, then at least seven or eight Level 1 Gaseous Wizards had died at his hands. This would just be one more to add to the list.

At the same time, Pei Ze was using the Eye of Omniscience to gauge his enemy’s strength.

"A Spirit energy level of 15.32. That’s equivalent to a Level 1 Liquidation Wizard."

Pei Ze narrowed his eyes.

The rank of an Official Priest of the Winter Frost Sect could be determined by the number of snowflake patterns on their sleeves.

One snowflake pattern meant First-Class Priest.

Two snowflake patterns meant Second-Class Priest.

And so on.

And the Priest on the chariot was clearly a Second-Class Priest.

"One Second-Class Priest, nine Apprentice Priests, one Tier Two Legendary Knight, nine Tier One Legendary Knights, and eighty Grand Knights."

"Quite the formidable lineup."

Hearing Pei Ze’s muttering, both Su Ya’s and Peng Yan’s faces changed.

"Sir," Su Ya said, her face pale. "The enemy is too strong. We should leave at once."

If it were a First-Class Priest, Su Ya was confident that Pei Ze could handle it.

But a Second-Class Priest was a powerful being comparable to a Level 1 Liquidation Wizard.

Not to mention there was also a Tier Two Legendary Knight.

’How could they possibly handle a lineup like this?’

However, in response to Su Ya’s panicked words, Pei Ze just said calmly, "Don’t panic. Just protect yourselves."

Su Ya and Peng Yan were both startled.

’From the sound of it, Pei Ze is planning to fight them head-on.’

The two exchanged a look, a sense of helplessness on their faces.

But as Pei Ze’s followers, they could only obey his command, so they gritted their teeth and assumed combat stances.

Once the distance between them closed to five hundred meters, the five Bronze War Chariots began to accelerate, rumbling toward Pei Ze and his companions with a ferocious, unstoppable momentum.

But before the chariots could charge any closer, a massive amount of black fog suddenly erupted from Pei Ze’s body, forming a black pillar that shot toward the sky.

SWOOSH!

Countless black crows burst from the pillar, sweeping toward the Bronze War Chariots like a torrent that blotted out the sun and sky.

Seeing the dense, black torrent, the faces of many Turin Warriors turned pale.

"What are you panicking for? Charioteers, maintain speed and keep charging! Long-range Attackers, activate the Arrays and release a frost stream to block those monsters!"

Salon shouted in a deep voice, his calm and steady tone quickly helping his men regain their composure.

But in the very next instant, the swarming Fog Crows suddenly opened their beaks and let out an incomparably piercing cry.

The countless cries merged into an invisible soundwave that swept through the sky. Wherever it passed, the very air visibly distorted.

Even Su Ya and Peng Yan, who were a good distance away, couldn’t help but frown as a sharp pain shot through their ears.

If it was like this for them, it was even worse for the Turin People facing the soundwave head-on.

On the central Bronze War Chariot, Fei Rui’s expression changed drastically as he managed to conjure a massive Ice Crystal Shield to protect his vehicle just in time. The other four chariots, however, began to vibrate violently, and the protective halos surrounding them shattered into dust in an instant.

Inside the chariots, the weaker Turin Warriors’ bodies exploded into a bloody mist before they could even scream.

Although the few Legendary Knights avoided being blown to smithereens, blood poured from their seven orifices as their bodies went limp and collapsed, their lives extinguished in an instant.

In the end, even the chariots themselves disintegrated with a BOOM, shattering into countless bronze fragments that rained down to the ground with a CLATTER.

When the soundwave dissipated, only a single, solitary Bronze War Chariot remained in the sky.

The surviving Turin Warriors, including Salon, stared blankly at the scene. Their minds were buzzing, and their faces were ashen.

"Damn you, Wizard!"

Fei Rui was so furious his face turned livid, his eyes practically spitting fire.

Four chariots had been destroyed right under his nose, with no survivors among their crews. To him, this was an utter humiliation.
