Inside a dim room lit only by the faint glow of candles, Rios sat quietly without making a single movement or sound.
Two days had passed since he began healing the sick and injured.

A new status panel appeared before Rios, resembling a character creation screen from a video game.

After experimenting several times, he gradually mastered the controls and molded it however he wished.
In the end, the white sphere took the form of a human.
The appearance Rios chose was that of a young man in his early twenties with short black hair, a pale face, and a well-defined jawline.
It was the appearance he had in his previous life.
He then looked at the five fields and asked the system,
"System, I can fill these fields however I want, right?"

After hearing the systemโs reply, Rios looked at the Name field first.
After thinking for a moment, he focused on it and entered his chosen name before filling in the remaining fields.
After waiting for a short while, the system finally spoke again.

The moment the announcement ended, Riosโ consciousness was almost instantly transferred from his body into an entirely different world.
Rios slowly opened his eyes and found himself beneath a completely black sky filled with countless stars of different sizes and colors.
He carefully examined his surroundings before looking down at himself.
He discovered that he was inside a perfectly round white sphere.
To his surprise, the appearance within the sphere was exactly the one he had created on the system panel.

At that moment, a small blue star appeared before Rios and spoke in a gentle voice.
Before Rios could understand what was happening, the white sphere surrounding him disappeared.
A blue light emerged from the small blue star and began scanning every part of his body.

As soon as the scan ended, a blue panel appeared before Rios containing numerous options.
Besides the five fields he had filled in through the system, there was also a Messages tab, another tab that appeared to be a Map, and a final tab labeled More.
What surprised Rios was that these three tabs were written in the language of the City of Lightโthe very world where he had awakened.
However, all three tabs were locked.
Before Rios could figure out what those locks meant, the space around him began to crack apart.
The stars started revolving around one another at an insane speed.
Gradually, everything before his eyes faded away, replaced by an entirely different scene.
Rios looked around and discovered that he was standing upon white clouds within a world filled with stars and breathtaking heavenly scenery.
Palaces and buildings stretched endlessly across the clouds.
The streets were extraordinarily wide, yet even they were crowded with countless strange creatures of all kinds of shapes and sizes.
Some humanoids were barely one meter tall.
Others were giants standing three or even five meters high.
There were demi-humans, half beast and half human.
There were also creatures that looked far closer to beasts than to humans.
All of these beings possessed spiritual bodies that were either almost colorless or pure white, just like Riosโ.
After observing them for some time, Rios shifted his gaze toward the palaces and buildings around him.
However, after examining them for a while and reading many of the signs, he noticed something unusual.
The buildings differed greatly in appearance, size, and grandeur.
Yet without exception, every single one belonged to some organization.
There was the Azmir Empire Palace, the Blue Grain Palace, the Cerberus Sect Palace, and the Bolu Clan Palace.
"Hello there, friend. Need some help?"
While Rios was exploring this new and fascinating world, he suddenly heard a voice calling out to him from behind.
Turning around, he saw a completely white figure slightly taller than himself.
The man had a human appearance, but possessed a foxโs tail, fox ears, and a pair of striking sharp fangs.
Rios tilted his head slightly and smiled faintly.
He had already figured out what the man wanted.
"Let me guess... a scammer pretending to be a guide, or a hunter?"
Faced with Riosโ accusation, the man showed no embarrassment whatsoever.
Instead, he grinned even wider, making his sharp fangs even more prominent.
