Chapter 662: Wanting a Little Sister

When Xu Mumu came over, she saw Yin Yang explaining things to the little guy. Xu Mumu didn’t disturb them; she didn’t want her son to be ignorant of everything.

Previously, when Qu Ying and her daughter came, Xu Mumu went directly to the backyard to keep herself busy and wasn’t prepared to meet them. After all, Yin Yang could handle it; mainly, she didn’t want to see Qu Ying’s arrogant appearance.

Xu Mumu brought the lotus root slices she had made to the two of them and sat across from the father and son, watching Yin Yang teach the child.

The little guy’s earnest expression made Xu Mumu feel very gratified.

After the explanation was finished, Xu Mumu brought over the flower tea she had prepared for the two.

"Drink some water," Xu Mumu said with a smile, looking at the father and son. "You worked hard today."

"The tea my wife brews with her own hands is even more fragrant," Yin Yang said with a smile.

"Of course, I made these myself too. You should try them," Xu Mumu said, pointing to the lotus root slices. The kitchen had delivered a lot of lotus root, fresh and new. It had been a while since she cooked, so Xu Mumu made some lotus root slices.

"Mom’s cooking is delicious." The little guy took a bite of the lotus root slice and praised it without hesitation.

Xu Mumu twitched her mouth. Didn’t she know her own skills? What she made was just average. How did this brat learn to flatter like this? Could it be inherited from his dad?

"What made you think of cooking yourself? There are chefs in the kitchen. Aren’t you worried about roughening your hands?" Yin Yang said gently, eating the lotus root slice. He had eaten better, but when made by his wife, its significance was naturally different.

"I do too! My hands often do work, okay?" Xu Mumu glared at Yin Yang.

In the lab, many things have to be done by hand, but due to her superpowers, every time her hands got a bit rough, after a few days of care, they returned to their soft and tender state.

The lotus root slices were not many and soon finished. Since noon was approaching, Xu Mumu took the little one to the backyard to digest.

Yin Yang also took a book to the backyard, but he stayed in the pavilion. Once the little guy had played enough, he followed to study with him.

Yin Yang held high hopes for this child. Doudou has never let him down. The little one learns quickly. Even if he sometimes didn’t understand, he remembered everything Yin Yang said.

Yin Yang stretched lazily, resting his hands behind his head. According to the little one’s learning progress, by the time he turns ten-something, he would be thrown into the company to gain experience. Upon adulthood, the company and all that is Yin Family’s would be handed over to him, and then Yin Yang could take his wife and travel the world.

Thinking about this, Yin Yang felt even more motivated, wanting to impart all his knowledge to the little guy.

At that moment, the little guy, who his father held high hopes for, was busy chasing a butterfly, running all around the yard.

The backyard was filled with many flowers and trees, a perfect place for running. The little guy was almost wild with playfulness.

Xu Mumu sat beside Yin Yang, watching their delighted child play in the yard, a smile appearing on her face.

"Honey, we should give Doudou a little sister," Yin Yang whispered in Xu Mumu’s ear.

Xu Mumu blushed slightly. This guy talking about such things in broad daylight, although she also wanted a girl. Both of them weren’t bad-looking, and a little girl would surely grow up to be a beauty.

"Can I just give birth whenever I want?" Xu Mumu glared at him.

"Yes, yes, it’s my fault; I haven’t been trying hard enough," Yin Yang laughed heartily.

"You and those words! Doudou is still here, no sense of propriety," Xu Mumu pinched his waist in dissatisfaction.

"Doudou will be happy to know. Right now, he’s the only one at home, and he probably wants a sister," Yin Yang said with a smile, hugging his wife. Since it was only their son around and he was still young, there were no outsiders.

"A sister, Dad? Do I have a sister now?" The little guy heard what they were talking about and eagerly ran over.

"Not yet, still a ways to go," Xu Mumu struggled out of Yin Yang’s embrace, looking at her son seriously.

"When will I have a sister then?" The little guy’s happy expression visibly dropped, filled with disappointment as he thought he’d soon have a sister.

"We don’t know yet, but when we find out, you’ll be the first we tell," Yin Yang said with a smile.

"Really?" The little guy brightened a bit.

"Of course it is," Yin Yang nodded.

Xu Mumu carefully wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief. The little guy had been running around so much that his forehead was sweaty.

The sister topic was weighing on the little one’s mind.

After lunch, Xu Mumu had already told Yin Yang she planned to take the little one to the amusement park that afternoon.

After waking up from a nap, the little guy got excited, wondering if the amusement park in the Imperial City was like the one back home, waiting expectantly since morning.

Without much prompting from Xu Mumu, the little guy dressed himself, washed his face, used a small comb to lightly style his hair, and put on a cute little hat.

"Mom, do I look good?" The little guy stood in front of Xu Mumu.

"You look great, our Doudou looks the best," Xu Mumu said with a smile.

Once the little one was ready, Xu Mumu took his hand, and they got in the car Yin Yang drove, heading to the amusement park as a family of three.

The amusement park in the Imperial City was larger, with more complete entertainment facilities. Even though they arrived in the afternoon, many people were playing there, kids and adults alike, making it very lively.

Xu Mumu carried a camera while leisurely strolling with Doudou in the amusement park, finding suitable scenes to have the father and son pose for pictures, occasionally snapping solo shots of Doudou.

Not many people came to the amusement park for photos, but Xu Mumu went around taking pictures with the little one, drawing quite some attention.

However, Xu Mumu didn’t care about those people’s gazes; she just wanted to capture every moment of her child’s growth.

Xu Mumu and Yin Yang took the little guy around the amusement park, playing on every ride. When they found something he liked, they played it multiple times. By the time they left the amusement park, it was almost dark, and the film Xu Mumu brought was all used up.

With a satisfied heart, Xu Mumu got into the car to head home, carrying the camera. The little guy, still full of excitement, was chatting away about the fun things in the amusement park, expressing a desire to come back next time.
