Chapter 652: Dealing with Tian Fang

"Alright, do as you wish. If you need me to cover for you, just say it," Yin Yang nodded.

"Of course, if I ever need a cover, I’ll come straight to you," Xu Mumu laughed.

For now, this matter was put aside. Xu Mumu wasn’t planning to bring it up again. On Tian Fang’s side, after being scared a few times by Yin Yang, she confessed to what she had planned to do.

Then, Tian Fang was sent to the police station, detained on charges of attempted harm.

News quickly reached her hometown, and only Mrs. Xu from the Tian Family came, to apologize to Xu Mumu and her family, hoping they would spare Tian Fang.

However, Xu Mumu refused. Tian Fang wouldn’t be held for long, just two years to teach her a lesson.

"How can you be so heartless? Fangfang is your cousin," Mrs. Xu cried.

"Indeed, she is my dear cousin who tried to steal my man, even attempted to drug him. Did she not consider us as cousins when she was set on harming him?" Xu Mumu sneered coldly. This aunt was too much, no wonder grandma couldn’t stand her.

Xu Chunmei was at a loss for words. Tian Fang was indeed at fault in this, and she hadn’t thought Tian Fang would dare so much.

Xu Mumu remained firm on not forgiving Tian Fang. Mrs. Xu left Xu Mumu’s house in despair, and Xu Mumu was indifferent, knowing her aunt’s family might hate her to the core now.

But it didn’t matter, she wasn’t relying on them to live her life anyway.

Because of this incident, Madam Chen and the others also returned from the village early. When Li Caixia saw Xu Chunmei, she rushed over and beat her up, furious at what her daughter Tian Fang had shamelessly done.

"Hmph, jail is too easy for her. If I were there, I’d definitely beat her to death," Li Caixia said angrily.

"Alright mom, calm down. We’re fine now, aren’t we? Don’t worry, Tian Fang won’t have it easy in jail; Yin Yang has already talked to someone," Xu Mumu said with a warm smile.

"That’s more like it. I knew Yin Yang had good taste, how could he fancy that wretched girl? Ugh, so shameless to try and steal my son-in-law," Li Caixia had learned about Tian Fang’s past deeds and felt it was a disgrace to the Xu Family.

As Xu Mumu consoled her mother, she thought of what was written on the letter. This was her real mom. Her previous life’s parents, although good to her, were more restrained, valuing her education more. But her current life’s parents, despite their little flaws, were unwaveringly by her side, and she loved them dearly.

Tian Fang’s matter had little impact on the Xu family and Xu Mumu. Yin Yang acted swiftly and ruthlessly, with no intention of sparing Tian Fang.

Mrs. Xu tried all her connections but couldn’t get Tian Fang out. However, she found out that Yin Yang had pressured the police, and Tian Fang had to be punished before she could be released.

For the first time, Mrs. Xu realized how capable Yin Yang was, even able to speak on such terms with the police station.

Mrs. Xu left the scene with a heart full of despair; her daughter would only be held for a few years after all. She’d wait.

As for avenging her daughter, with Yin Yang being so powerful, how could she? She wouldn’t dare.

Especially those cold eyes of Yin Yang, she didn’t even dare look him in the eye.

After resolving this issue, Xu Mumu began to check on Du Yu; the company still needed her.

After a year of rapid development, the company had already stabilized, though some issues remained.

Xu Mumu discussed with Du Yu, and the company released numerous new policies, all to enhance and develop the business further.

The factory resumed production on the sixth day. Though still early, it counted as overtime, and the pay was good, so everyone reported to work early.

With constantly running between places every day, the child was left with the grandparents, but the little one learned quickly. Knowing mom was busy, the kid didn’t bother her.

Whenever Xu Mumu returned home, the little one would bring her water, looking so obedient and filial, softening Xu Mumu’s heart further.

Troubles at the company were solved fairly quickly by Xu Mumu and were then passed on to Du Yu.

Fake electric bikes had surfaced on the market, which Xu Mumu anticipated. Those with interest could study and reproduce them in no time, highlighting the need for the company’s R&D department.

The company’s electric bikes continued to improve, leaving Xu Mumu unworried about others surpassing them.

As long as the R&D team continued to create valuable innovations, they would always be at the forefront.

Even if others developed good products, it was their own business. While competition could affect sales, their brand had already established a good reputation.

When Xu Mumu had nearly wrapped things up, it was already close to the New Year.

Back home, Xu Mumu cuddled the little fox. Its leg injury was fully healed, though the fur where it was clipped hadn’t regrown entirely yet, making the spot look a bit unsightly.

She held the little fox on her lap. It now had a name, Little Huang, given by Doudou. Whenever its name was called, it seemed like it was calling a dog.

Yet, the little fox appeared to enjoy it. Every time it was called, it jumped onto someone’s shoulder. In this household, it only dared not jump onto Yin Yang’s shoulder; otherwise, it did so to everyone else.

Xu Mumu stroked Little Huang’s fur while Doudou brought over a chicken wing. The little fox especially loved chicken, and with its sharp baby teeth, eating a chicken wing was an easy task.

"Mom, when will Little Huang’s fur grow back?" The little one wiped his hands and reached out to touch the soft, comforting fur.

"Probably in about a month," Xu Mumu replied with a smile. The fur was already growing, just faintly, and to reach the length of the other fur, it would take over a month.

"So long? I wanted to take the little fox out to play," the child was greatly disappointed.

"Where do you want to take it to play?" Xu Mumu asked humorously.

"To play with uncle," the little one said promptly. In the city, his closest playmate was the uncle.

"You can’t take the little fox out, have your uncle come to see the fox himself. What if someone steals it?" Xu Mumu laughed, not wishing for others to know they had a fox at home.
