"Mom is the best." The little one immediately said.
Xu Mumu carried the little guy for a while, and soon he wasn’t tired and wanted to walk on his own.
Xu Mumu let him be, though carrying the little guy wasn’t tiring at all; his weight was nothing.
"Doudou, if you’re tired, Uncle will carry you." Xu Minglei seriously said, holding the little guy’s hand, not wanting his sister to get tired.
"Got it, Second Uncle." The little one nodded obediently, thinking to himself that he was a man and couldn’t always rely on mom to carry him.
After walking for more than an hour, they finally reached the moat area.
The moat area had been developed, constructed beautifully, with several parks built around here, as well as many lodging places, developing rapidly, thus attracting many people.
Many people came to play here, some went to play inside the parks, others headed to amusement parks, while some came specifically for the food street.
The food street was set up along the moat, with many tables and benches placed around, filling the air with the aroma of food as one approached.
"Smells so good." Xu Jiaojiao took two deep breaths, feeling delighted by the aroma.
"Are you guys hungry? The rice noodles from that stall are the best. Do you want to try them?" Li Tai asked with a smile.
"A bit hungry, didn’t eat much this morning." Chu Hua touched her stomach, and then they all headed towards the rice noodle stall without objections.
Xu Mumu placed a stool beside her, letting the little guy sit next to her. The little guy had only sat at the barbecue stalls outside Qingyuan Temple before.
The little guy had strong impressions of barbecue, so he was rather curious about the food here.
Xu Mumu ordered a small bowl of rice noodles and an extra empty bowl to share with the little guy. With so many delicious things here, they couldn’t just fill up now.
Seeing Xu Mumu’s reasoning, everyone thought it made sense and all ordered smaller portions to share.
The rice noodles here were indeed quite tasty. Xu Mumu’s eyes brightened; the sour and spicy taste was just right, not too spicy, so she didn’t stop the little guy from eating.
The little guy loved the taste after just one bite, but mom wouldn’t let him eat more.
After finishing the rice noodles, Xu Mumu paid for them.
"Sister Xu, you don’t have to pay for us. We’ll treat you later. We invited you to have fun, not to have you foot the bill." Chu Hua said with a smile.
"Alright, I’ll wait for you to treat me later." Xu Mumu nodded with a smile, not making a fuss.
After eating the rice noodles, Li Tai took them around to taste all the food he thought was delicious. Xu Mumu found this guy had a real knack for being a gourmet; the food places he took them to were indeed quite good.
Xu Mumu also tried other stalls but found none as good as the ones recommended by Li Tai.
Xu Jiaojiao and the others also noticed: "Well, Li Tai, you’ve got a good taste. Next time we want something good, we’ll come to you again."
"No problem, come find me anytime." Li Tai assured with a pat on his chest, feeling confident in his choice of food.
After strolling around the food street, they all felt a bit full and tired after walking for so long.
"Didn’t feel it before, but after resting and eating for a bit, my legs are so sore." Xu Jiaojiao rubbed her calves, still holding the camera they brought out with them, as she had taken many photos along the way and wanted a copy of all of them.
"Soak in hot water when you get back, you guys were playing so wildly." Xu Mumu smiled helplessly.
She called Yin Yang to have someone come to pick them up.
The person who came was Zhou Yunhong, someone Xu Mumu knew. Over the years, Zhou Yunhong had developed quite well here, marrying and having children, living quite comfortably.
"Doudou, do you still remember me?" Zhou Yunhong asked with a smile, lifting Doudou up.
"I do, I do, it’s Uncle Zhou." The little guy clung to Zhou Yunhong’s neck, afraid to fall. Uncle Zhou always brought him delicious treats or fun toys whenever he visited their home.
As Yin Yang’s right-hand man, Zhou Yunhong often had to travel for work, always bringing back small gifts for the little guy.
Those dazzling little things were much loved by the little guy.
"Let’s go, get in the car. You must all be tired." Zhou Yunhong said with a smile to Xu Mumu and the others. The car was quite spacious, enough to fit everyone with some squeezing.
The little guy sat obediently on Xu Mumu’s lap, while Zhou Yunhong drove and chatted with the little guy about all the fun places they visited today.
The little guy excitedly chatted with Zhou Yunhong. Xu Mumu listened in surprise to the little guy’s eloquence, enjoying his recounting of the day.
"Doudou’s memory is really good, he remembers everything we did today." Xu Jiaojiao said in surprise.
"Doudou has always been good at remembering. Whatever his dad teaches him, he learns quickly." Xu Mumu replied with a proud smile, reflecting her pride in her son.
"Really? Doudou is amazing, just like Big Sis." Xu Jiaojiao looked at Doudou with shining eyes. To her, Big Sis was the best, and now that Doudou was also so smart, there was something unique about Big Sis’s child.
Xu Mumu’s mouth twitched a bit at Xu Jiaojiao’s blind confidence in her, not knowing what to say.

"She said she had something to do and left shortly after Young Master left." Madam Chun reported dutifully on her observations of Tian Fang that day.
"How long has she been out?" Xu Mumu rubbed her chin, wondering what Tian Fang was up to, keeping a close eye on her due to her suspicions.
"Over three hours." Madam Chun calculated the time silently.
