At nine o’clock, the porridge was ready. When she placed a bowl of porridge on the table, Stuart returned back.

As usual, Edie opened the door for him and took a pair of slippers for him.

Seeing her, Stuart looked so surprised that he froze out of the door.

"I think I might be dreaming now."

"Why don’t you get more sleep?"

"I couldn’t see you these days when I get up. Today I want to see you in the morning. So I decided to get up one hour in advance. But I still couldn’t find you. I might need to get up earlier next time."

"White roses for you," he passed a bunch of white roses to her. It smelt so fragrant.

"I would come again tonight. Wait here for me."

Edie called him. For the first time, no one answered. The second time, no one answered. The third time, he finally answered the call.

He told Edie he had something to deal with tonight. He could not come to her tonight.

But he forgot to tell her.
