Chapter 767: Chapter 767: So Indifferent

Everyone was looking for Stuart. No one expected that Edie was the first one to give up. She even proposed to build a cenotaph for Stuart.

When hearing this suggestion from Edie, everyone was so astonished. But Edie looked so calm and peaceful.

She didn’t want to return back to England. She still wanted to live in A with Laty. She asked Avan whether he wanted to live with them. Avan said that he wanted to live with them. Edie was also willing to take care of this little boy. After all, she wished Laty could grow up happily. She didn’t want Laty to be lonely.

Bette and Brittany wanted to visit her. But Edie refused. She wanted to live alone for several days. She asked them not to worry about her.

Indeed, Edie took good care of her.

She went out to take a photograph every day. When she had free time, she would stay at home, studying more dishes for her kids. She often invited Sophie to come for dinner. Life was so peaceful as if Stuart never found her. She was still living a peaceful, relaxing life with her daughter.

She sat on the bed, trying to calm herself down. Today was Saturday. She didn’t have to get up early to send two kids to school. Therefore, she could get up later.

Edie still thought Avan was such a poor boy. She wanted to curse on Francies.

To stay with Laty to comfort her, Avan didn’t care about his uncle at all. Therefore, he made his uncle stay where he was.

After having breakfast, Edie took two kids to Sophie’s house and went to work.

When she walked to the photographing studio, she heard a scattered sound.

"Miss Lee, welcome. Sit down, please. We would make up for you. The photographer would arrive soon."

Helen wanted to interrupt the photographing, but Edie stopped her.

Finally, Edie finished all work at seven o’clock in the evening.

After Edie packed all her stuff, Helen finally said, "Edie, you don’t have to listen to Lexi. You should learn to be tough in front of her. She would not dare to say a word. Why do you do this to yourself?"
