Chapter 638: Chapter 638: Shopping For Baby Needs
When Edie walked out, she saw Stuart rushing towards her.
"What...."
When she wanted to ask him what was up, Stuart held her into his arms tightly.
"Stuart..."
She called his name. The smell on his body calmed herself down gradually.
He held her so tightly that she felt a little uncomfortable. But she didn’t want to push him away.
He looked so worried about her just because she stayed in the washing room for several minutes more than usual.
She could feel his strong body trembling slightly.
"I am fine. Don’t worry."
"Don’t leave me for such a long time again without my permission."
Stuart said word by word.
He was so anxious while waiting for her outside. But he couldn’t rush into the lady’s room. So he asked a lady to help him. But he was told that the lady’s room was under repair.
All of a sudden, he was restless and even agitated. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
Edie nodded seriously. She padded his back with her little hands and laughed, "Yes, sir. I promise. Continue shopping. We need to buy some clothes for our baby. He would be born soon." freёwebnovel.com
These words sounded so gentle and joyful. Stuart couldn’t hear anything else except the happiness welcoming their baby coming to this world.
"Okay."
Stuart didn’t say more words. He pressed lips and held her hands, walking towards the zone for mommy and baby.
They looked through milk powder, bottles, diapers, and baby’s clothes and shoes. It was the first time for Edie to shop in this zone. Seeing Edie’s swallowed belly, the assistant asked her how long she had conceived the baby.
Before Edie answered, Stuart already stood out proudly, "eight months."
"Do you know the gender?"
"Girl. She must be gorgeous," Stuart started admiring his daughter. He was never able to be modest.
He raised his eyebrows slightly. Deep in his eyes were sweetness and joy.
Stuart has become much gentler than before. Though he still didn’t like females, he could sometimes talk to familiar assistants in supermarkets or have a short conversation with other pregnant women. Now he was no longer so indifferent and cold towards them. Instead, he became polite. Sometimes, he would even greet them.
Edie saw all these. She felt so warm at the bottom of the heart.
When hearing it was a girl, the shop assistant immediately led them in front of a group of baby’s clothes, "Here, all are preparing for her. Which one do you like?"
"Pink. Shirt, pants, socks, and shoes. All are pink." Stuart answered.
Edie pressed his lips and smiled. Stuart loved their baby daughter so much. He bought a lot for her.
Pink headwear, pink dolls, pink purse, and even a pink backpack.
Their baby wouldn’t need this until she grew up. But Stuart had already prepared for it.
After arriving at home, Edie looked a little tired. She took a nap on the bed. When she woke up again, it was at dusk. She has been sleeping for a whole afternoon. When she walked out of the bedroom, she heard some cracking sound from the living room.
She walked there slowly. Next to their bedroom was a room covered with pink paper. In the middle of the room were a bassinet and a large bed. Inside the drawer were feeders and disposable diapers, as well as lots of scary headwear.
Edie walked out of the room and walked into the second guest room.
The bassinet in this room looked larger. In this room, except feeders and disposable diapers, there were also some milk powders, baby clothes, and cart and toys. This room was for their one-year-old daughter.
The third room was a little larger than the last one. So were the clothes. There was a yard. Insides were their different clothes, with different beautiful headset and hats, as well as lots of adorable dolls. This room seemed like the room for their three-year-old daughter.
Then...
For four-year-old, five-year-old, six-year-old...ten-year-old.
What was Stuart doing?
She walked to the room under decoration. The paper had been put up. The bedsheet was pink. She saw a desk, sofa, bookshelf and computer desk...
"What are you doing?" Edie asked blankly. Stuart was preparing books. He put a piece of the note into the book.
When hearing Edie’s sound, he closed the book immediately and put it into the bookshelf. Then he turned around "Edie, what are you doing here? Are you hungry? I would finish in minutes."
"Why are you doing this? How could you finish all these within just one afternoon?" she asked him in shock.
"I’ve prepared for this for a long time. I’ve bought those wallpapers and furniture long ago. Now I just added something into it." he smiled and held her shoulder slightly, rubbing her belly slightly.
The belly looked normal for a pregnant woman. But Edie was so slim that the contract looked so terrifying.
The summer would come soon. She wore a white shirt and a white skirt. Hair hangs smoothly on her shoulder. She already cut it short.
She looked so soft at this moment. Perhaps it was because of the pregnancy.
He liked this. No matter how long he looked at her, he wanted more.
"No reason. I don’t want you to do all these. It must be too hard for you," he kissed on her lips. The answer sounded so hot for Edie.
"You would always stay with me, wouldn’t you?" Edie held his hand nervously. What Stuart said sounded like her last words. It made her anxious.
Even one of them had to disappear from this world, and it would be herself. Norman had already promised to her. He would ensure Stuart’s safety.
"Yes. I didn’t mean anything. Let’s go downstairs. Time to prepare dinner for you."
Stuart didn’t want to talk about leaving. It was a sad topic. Currently, all he wanted was to spend more joyful time with her.
Edie wanted to ask more. But seeing Stuart fell into silence, Edie finally held all her words back and threw herself in his arms. Then they went downstairs.
At dinner, Edie asked suddenly, "Darling...when could we hold our wedding again? We have free time these days. Could we go back to A? Get our marriage certification."
Though they’ve announced to the public, they have gotten married. Both of them knew their marriage was not under the protection of the law.
As the baby was about to be born, they started to realize the influence on their baby.
"I have something to deal with these days. We can get our marriage certification in two months. Okay?"
"Okay, then. The sooner, the better."
Edie rubbed her belly. She didn’t want to go while conceiving a baby, either. It was so exhausting for her. After giving birth to their baby and taking a good rest, they could go back to get their certification. That sounded so great.
He said in two months. That meant...he could hold on for at least two months.
Edie assumed.
As time went by, Edie’s belly got bigger and bigger. Her expected date of childbirth was on June 3rd.
Edie lost more and more weight. Stuart tried all means to make her get some weight. But he failed. She never got more weight.
She’s hidden lots of secrets behind. How could she enjoy food?
Even the doctor warned Stuart that if Edie got thinner, it might be more difficult for her to give birth to the baby. It was also harmful to the mother.
Stuart was so worried about Edie that he stayed with Edie every second.
