Chapter 502: Chapter 502: I Need To See Stuart

"But.... it’s the head. You didn’t know his condition exactly, either, right? Please be a father. Please."

She was so worried and terrified that she wished she could fly to the hospital to check his condition.

Francies nodded, "I would do my best, but I should also ensure your safety. Stop mind wandering. Be easy."

At the moment they stepped out of the elevator, two guards pointed at them with the gun.

Francies immediately raised his arms in surrender, "I am Francies. She’s Mrs. Yates. We are here to visit him."

"Sorry. But Secretary Scott said no one could step in now. Please go back now. No one is allowed to visit him,"

Guard said with determination. He didn’t care who they were.

Francies felt annoyed the way Stuart’s guard treated them; however, he reminded himself to calm down.

"But, she’s Mrs. Yates. You couldn’t stop her. I could listen to you. But you need to allow her to see him. Otherwise, you would pay the price."

"Please. This is our job."

The gun in guards’ hands was loaded,

Their task was to protect Stuart’s safety. Stuart’s family will definitely fire them if they don’t follow the protocols.

Edie gritted her teeth and lowered her voice, "Hold on here. I should get in."

"What?" Francies turned towards Edie and looked at her confusedly. He didn’t expect that she just rushed in.

The guard frowned. He threatened, "Go back, please, or I would shoot."

But Edie didn’t stop. She doesn’t care if this guard will going to kill her. She needed to see her husband.

The guard really pulled the trigger.

Then, Edie was shocked by the sound of shooting.

She turned around, seeing Francies holding the guard’s arms tightly. So the guard missed the target.

The bullet passed through her, inserting into the wall tightly.

Edie grounded the teeth, "Help me, Francies."

"Again?" Francies looked broken.

"Ivan, I need to see Stuart."

Ivan got out of the room and saw the guard pointing at Edie with a gun. He was shocked,

"Put the gun down. Do you have any idea who she is?"

The guard put the gun immediately and lowered his head respectfully.

Ivan walked to Edie and swept through her body. After ensuring she was not hurt, he took a big relief.

"Mrs. Yates, what can I do to help you?"

"How’s Stuart?"

"CEO.....he was injured. But it’s not bad. You don’t have to worry about him. Mr. Bates and I would stay with him."

He didn’t know why Edie knew this. Stuart asked them not to tell Edie anything. He didn’t want her to worry about him.

Besides, Edie was kept in the house. Reasonably, she couldn’t know the news. Ivan was shocked when seeing her,

"But I need to see him now," Edie said angrily.
