Chapter 489: Chapter 489: Our Wedding
Her grandpa was in the hospital. He came here to say goodbye.
"Eddie, I am going back to my hometown. Take care of yourself. Don’t keep everything to yourself. Ask Stuart’s help. That kid is good."
"Grandpa, are you blaming for getting Vic in jail..."
The old Greg interrupted her, "Silly girl, stop saying nonsense. She made such a mistake. She should be punished. Everyone should pay for their mistakes. No one is exceptional. This is just a lesson to help her grow up. But I felt deeply guilty in front of you. I am too ashamed to stay here."
"Why do you feel so? You are the best." Eddie said sadly.
The old Greg smiled. He grabbed Eddie’s hands, "I’ve made my decision. When you recovered completely and got married, I would come to your wedding. I am old now. I miss my hometown. I could stay abroad for a long time. That boy loved you so much, I can tell. Keep him. I am so glad that you finally woke up."
The old Greg choked with sobs.
Eddie hugged him tightly, "Be careful. I promise I will visit you when I recover."
"Okay. I am waiting for you. Take care..."The old man repeated. And then he left in his wheelchair.
Her favorite grandpa was leaving the city. But she couldn’t see him off. She felt really sad.
She didn’t expect all these changes. Eddie felt tired. Even the wedding she’s been looking forward to for a long time was canceled.
When she felt so lost, Clyde arrived.
He also came to say goodbye.
"Clyde? Why are you here?"
She was in a coma when Clyde arrived in England, so she didn’t know.
Clyde was her "Fiance." Was he coming to conflict with my wedding?
She got nervous, "Clyde, though you are my fiance, I didn’t know about this engagement before. And I never love you. The man I love is Stuart, and I would marry him...?"
"Still hurt?" Clyde interrupted her directly.
He felt pain for her,
Eddie shook his head blankly, "No."
"I should go back to A now, to help you handle Greg’s. All you need to do now is take good rest here."
Eddie widened her eyes. She didn’t believe that her former fiance would help her fiance save the situation. What the hell was going on?
Clyde saw the astonishment on her face. He was amazed. But he was not in a good mood. So he didn’t smile.
He walked to her bed, bending down to touch her hair,
"I am not your fiance. But I could tell you who I am now. But you can trust me. I would never hurt you."
Then, he left.
Too much information. Eddie needed time to think about it. Was he not her fiance? Was he lying to her all the time?
He looked so mysterious. But who would he be if he was not Eddie’s fiancee? Why did he approach her before?
As Eddie was mind-wandering, someone asked her in a tired and low voice, "What are you thinking of?"
Eddie turned around. Seeing Stuart, she immediately put anything else aside and focused on Stuart. She lifted the quilt, trying to get off to check his condition.
But she touched the wound carefully. It hurt her so much.
Stuart stopped her immediately, "Stay there. I would come to you."
Then he pulled the needle out and walked to her bed. This pissed Eddie off.
"Why do you pull the injection out?"
"Cuz...."
"Nurse. if you dare to do this again, we would have a problem."
She pressed the call ring. The doctor arrived and gave Stuart an injection again.
But Stuart still looked pale. Eddie got worried, "how do you feel now? You’ve been in a coma for a while."
"I am fine."
He held Eddie’s small hand and put it on his forehead, gently and carefully.
Eddie checked and finally ensured that he was getting better. She was relieved.
Stuart also felt relief when seeing her face regaining color, "does it still hurt? the doctor said the knife already reached the gut."
"I feel much better. I’ve asked the doctor. He said I could leave the hospital now and take some rest at home. I don’t like the smell of antiseptic solution here. Could you take me home after you feel better?"
Eddie looked at him with her pure and bright eyes. At the moment, no one could say no to such a cute girl.
"Okay, then let’s go home, "Stuart kept spoiling her.
" What are you thinking about just now?" ƒгeewebnovёl.com
Eddie didn’t know Stuart already knew that Clyde told her he was her fiance. Besides, Eddie never really Clyde. Therefore, she didn’t mention Clyde.
"Our wedding."
She wasn’t lying. She kept thinking about their wedding after waking up.
Their wedding.
It was the most important day for every girl. She felt anxious after it was canceled.
She leaned in Stuart’s arms, "Darling, does the god forbid us to get married? So he made me miss the wedding."
Stuart touched her hair, "No. If he really wants to forbid this, he wouldn’t make me meet with you. It is just an accident. Don’t overthink it. We could have the wedding as soon as you recovered."
"Great,"
Eddie nodded firmly.
Though Stuart’s words were convincing, Eddie couldn’t get away from the anxiety.
She had a bad feeling.
Eddie felt tired. Soon, she fell asleep in his arms.
Stuart looked at her face. His eyes turned cold,
"Don’t worry, darling, and I would never let anyone else ruin our wedding. We would be married happily. I promise you."
He murmured as if he was swearing to the god.

After resting in the hospital for two days, Eddie went back home with Stuart.
He didn’t know when Eddie could recover completely, so he hadn’t decided on the day of their wedding.
Stuart almost spent the whole day looking after her. He also takes her phone away because the phone is radioactive.
She almost recovered, but Stuart still treated her as if she already perceived a baby.
Thanks to Stuart’s companion, otherwise, she might be bored to death.
