Chapter 449: Chapter 449: I Change My Mind
The next day——
The early morning sunshine shone through the windows, light on the bed, and reflected on the intertwined figures.
Last night everything was in such a hurry that they forgot to draw the last thick layer of the curtain. The thin white curtain could not block any sunshine.
Stuart woke up early, and he tried to block the sunshine so that Edie could sleep a little longer.
Last night, no matter how many times he asked for sex, she satisfied him and did not complain. No matter if she could take it or not.
So in the morning, she was still tired.
Her shoulders were exposed outside the quilt; her skin was white, which made the cherry-red marks more attractive. Her body was full of evidence of last night’s madness left by him.
He couldn’t help caressing her skin, and his heart was going to melt.
Edie seemed to have felt him. She wrinkled her delicate nose and opened her eyes confusedly. When she found out that Stuart had not gotten up, she whispered, "You’re awake."
"Well, if you’re tired, you can sleep a little longer, then take a bath. You’ll feel much better if you’re soaked in warm water. Otherwise, you’ll feel pain all over."
As soon as Edie heard this, the blush on her cheeks spread all the way to her neck.
She snuggled into his arms, then her voice came from his chest, "OK, can you stop talking about it so early in the morning?"
Now she was totally awake.
Hearing her words, Stuart could not help curving his mouth into a smile. He petted her hair and said gently, "Last night, you worked hard, thank you."
"I said, don’t talk about it!"
"OK, I won’t."
"Let’s go and take a bath. I don’t want to sleep anyway." She poked her head out and said.
"OK," Stuart responded, then got up and drew the curtain. Although there was no resident nearby, and he would not be seen at all, he still did not want his little wife’s beautiful body to be exposed.
He went to the bathroom to put water in the bathtub, then carried her to the bathroom, and they went into the bathtub together.
The way Stuart wiped Edie’s body was very gentle, careful, as if afraid she would be hurt.
Edie comfortably laid on the edge of the bathtub and enjoyed the service from Stuart. She couldn’t help asking, "Why did you drink so much last night?"
"I was in a bad mood."
"Because of business?"
"Yeah." He couldn’t say that he saw Donald last night, so he had to answer ambiguously.
When Edie heard her answer, the first person who came to mind was Madame Yates, and no one else would be able to meddle with his emotion.
She swallowed, pursed her lips, and carefully asked, "Did... Did you fight with Madame Yates?"
"Yes." He went on to admit because that was the best reason, "You don’t have to worry, I’m all right."
"Stuart... next time, if you are unhappy, can you tell me? I was really worried last night seeing you like that." She whispered about her opinions.
Stuart heard the words and shivered slightly; ripples appeared on the surface of the water.
At last, Stuart pursed his lips and smiled, without hesitation, he answered, "I know, I won’t do it next time."
"Not only was I worried, but solitary drinking is bad for your body, at least talk to someone about it!" Edie couldn’t help staring at him. "Next time, tell me because I’m your wife. Couples should be honest with each other. If you keep doing this, I’ll be angry!"
"Yes, Maam!" Stuart obeyed quickly.
Then Edie stopped talking satisfactorily, and slowly closed her eyes to enjoy the service from Stuart.
Suddenly, Stuart said through her ear with a deep voice, and it sounded a little blurry because of the sound of the water.
"Edie, should we have a baby?"
"What?" She asked confusedly.
Stuart’s hand stopped; the sound of the water stopped abruptly as well.
Word by word, he said, "Edie, give me a baby, please?"
"Baby?"
She turned around in surprise, and her eyes met with Stuart’s dark eyes. There were emotions in there which she could not understand.
Didn’t he say two years later? Why does he want a child now?
"That’s right." He nodded, then hugged her gently, he said gently and carefully, "Edie, give me a baby."
This way, Edie would not leave him.
Edie was confused, and she couldn’t help wondering, "Didn’t you say you want to have a baby two years later?"
"I changed my mind. I want a family. I want you and our child to stay with me forever, forever! "
Stuart’s deep and hoarse voice slowly entered her ears, as if outlining a wonderful scene. freewebnovёl.ƈom
A family of three...
She and their child...
When Edie thought of it, she couldn’t help but yearn for their future. She, Stuart and their child, three of them...
She snuggled in Stuart’s arms and nodded, "OK, a family of three ."
After Edie had breakfast, Stuart said he would take her to the church. After seeing the church, they would go to the hospital to have a pre-marital check-up.
His orderly arrangement made it impossible for her to refuse.
They didn’t invite Brittany with them this time, actually, after last time, Brittany was scolded by Stuart and grounded at home.
At nine o’clock in the morning, they arrived at the church. It was not Sunday, there shouldn’t be too many people at the church, but the hall was crowded with people.
As soon as he entered, Edie felt great peace and sanctity, as if her whole body had been purified.
The doorman was very strict, and people could not dress too slovenly. It was to respect God.
Every once in a while, nuns would come to teach the Bible or to teach you to sing.
The people in the room obviously knew Stuart and showed respect to him. After Stuart had talked to someone in the church, he led Edie in and sat down on the bench in the corner.
"Do you like it?" He asked softly.
"Yes, it’s the first time I’ve been to a church!"
Getting married in a church, Edie had only seen it on TV.
Although she had heard about the church for a long time, she did not come last time. Then she forgot about it temporarily. She never expected that Stuart would remember.
It was solemn and pure, with sacred majesty permeating inside and outside. The round pillars were painted with white paint, and the outlines of Jesus crucified were carved on them.
The top of the church had well preserved painted glass. The light shining through was a little dim, but it didn’t affect much. There were also small wall lamps hanging on the pillars. The church had a long history; each decoration had gone through many years and was beautiful.
Peaceful hymns filled the church, the singing was beautiful, which seemed particularly pleasant.
