Chapter 414: Chapter 414: You’re My Superhero

Stuart’s rage was most apparent as his eyes swept over the women assembled. He had a faint smile of cynical amusement on his lips. "Do you not like the food I brought you?" he asked.

The look of anguish and reproach, which met their eyes, seemed to cast the young women into great confusion. Every trace of color had left Andy’s face. Her eyes were fixed upon Stuart. ’Who is this man? He asked the teacher if we could take a break and said he was Edie’s husband. He can’t be?’ These thoughts kept going around and around in her head. Andy had a feeling that something bad was about to happen. ’He stares at me like he wants to kill me.’ She had no idea what was going on or what was going to happen to her.

"Hello, my name is....." One of Edie’s classmates was about to introduce herself to Stuart, but he pushed back a table and kicked aside a chair. She looked up with a confused expression on her face.

"I have no intention of shaking your hand," Stuart replied coldly.

"Was that supposed to be an apology? I only wanted to introduce myself," she said. Stunned, she stood to stare at him while he stared back at her.

Everyone inside the classroom remained silent. They all stood with their mouths open as they checked him from head to toe. Andy noticed his expensive taste in clothing and jewelry, and there was an expensive watch on his wrist. Since Stuart was dressed as a wealthy businessman in a suit, it was obvious he had money.

’Is this one of Edie’s sugar daddy’s?’ Andy wondered. She was in no mood to eat in strained silence and hostility. She became somewhat numb to the pain with the passing time, but the inner turmoil tugged at her.

Edie picked up her books as fast as she could and rushed to her classroom. When she entered, the atmosphere in the room left her with an uneasy feeling. Stuart was sitting down, along with everyone else. There was food on all the desks, but no one was saying a word. Right at that instant, all eyes turned to her as if she was an alien. "Am I intruding?" she asked. She looked at Andy. Her watery eyes were blinking furiously.

Edie snapped out of her thoughts, not sure how long she was staring off in a daze. She shook her head in confusion. "What’s going on?" she asked, looking at Stuart.

Cecil quickly ran over to Stuart and threw his arms around his neck. "I’m so happy you’re here!" he said. Cecil stared at Andy. His eyes filled with hatred. "I knew you would come!" Then he pointed at Andy and said, "She’s a mean woman. She tried to pour boiling water on me."

Stuart could tell that she was terrified of him, her whole body shivering in fear. "I....I." but when she tried to speak, no words would come out.

Edie walked over to Cecil and gently pulled him away from Stuart. She whispered in his ear, "Remember what I said. It’s a secret," she said, reminding him.

Cecil looked at her and nodded his head. "Never mind," he said, pouting.

"What are you doing here?" Edie looked at Stuart with a confused expression on her face. She looked around the classroom and back at Stuart and then asked, "What’s going on?"

"I came to have lunch with you. I wanted to see where you go to school. So I brought lunch for everyone," he lowered his voice to a mysterious tone. Then he raised his head and looked from one person to the next with a cold glare.

"You should’ve called me first. Everyone looks so frightened. Let’s go out to have something to eat. Besides, Cecil is out of snacks," Edie said nervously.

"It’s already been taken care of," Stuart said as he pointed to the door. Then men dressed in uniforms entered the classroom bringing in trays of food and set them in the back of the room. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

Cecil’s eyes lit up at the sight of all the food. He stood on his tiptoes and kissed Stuart on the cheek. "You’re my superhero. I love you," he said, his voice full of excitement. Then he ran as fast as his little legs would carry him towards the food.

Edie looked surprised and asked, "Are you allowed to do this? Did my instructor permit you?"

"Who would dare to say no to me," he replied. His face changed as he glanced at the women.

They were all shaking in fear. No one said a word, but they were all wondering who this man was and why he was there. Except for Andy, she knew why Stuart was there. ’He’s one of the men Edie’s sleeping with. There is more than one. What if they all show up?’ Her mind just kept going and going. She was terrified of the outcome. She couldn’t take it anymore, and she had to do something. She looks at Edie. "It was....all my fault. Please....forgive me," her voice trembled as she spoke. Tears were running down her cheeks, ruining her make-up. Her mascara was running all over her cheeks, and she couldn’t say a whole sentence without crying in between words.

Stuart never gave Edie a chance to speak. He glared at Andy and asked, "What did you do to my wife? What does she need to forgive you?" He paused to look around the room, checking that he had everyone’s undivided attention. ƒгeewebnovёl.com

Edie looked at the expression on Stuart’s face. "He knows what happened," she mumbled. She started shaking, wondering what he was going to do.

"Stuart....Please," Edie said in a begging tone.

Stuart wasn’t listening. His attention was on Andy. "I’m asking her," he said as he pointed his finger at Andy. "Tell me what you did to my wife," he replied, emphasizing each word.

Andy stood up but fell to her knees because she was shaking so badly. She couldn’t stop crying. Edie couldn’t stand to see her so upset and stepped forward to help her. "Let me help you," Edie said in a gentle voice. But Andy’s reaction surprised her.

Andy crawled away from Edie, looking at her as if she was some kind of demon. "Don’t come near me. You’re a witch." She looks at Stuart and says, "She’s bewitched you. Just go home and leave me alone," she shouted through her sobs.

Edie stopped and looked at Andy. She couldn’t believe what she said. She took several deep breaths to calm herself down. The anger in Stuart rose. He originally came to the school to get Andy to admit to what she did to Edie. He never expected she would continue to call Edie names. He immediately stood up and walked over to Andy. "What did you just say about my wife?" he asked. His eyes were burning with anger.

Edie stepped between them and put her hand on Stuart’s chest. "Stuart, let me handle this, please. It’s my problem, and I’ll take care of her." Edie clenched her fists as she raised her voice.
