Chapter 247: Chapter 247: Edie Will Be Mine

For a long time, he was silent as if he was thinking of something. Donald’s eyes stared straight ahead at the last place that he had seen Eddie.

Karen was frightened by Donald’s madness. He took a few deep breaths, and suddenly there was an eerie silence that filled the car. Not long after Donald seemed to be back to his usual self, he said with a smile, "Karen, you have to help me."

Karen trembled and looked at Donald in disbelief.

"I know you’re my father’s illegitimate child," Donald said.

Donald smiled, and a mysterious, secretive expression came into his eyes, "I am the who has been in charge of Hawk Real Estate Co. Ltd for all these years, I have my ways. I know you can’t be recognized by the Lynch Family, so you can only be my assistant. But I do know you are my sister."

"Before my father died, didn’t you make him a promise? The promise was to help me take back the power of Hawk Real Estate Co., Ltd?" Donald took a deep breath and continued.

"The boardroom battle was so fierce. How could I deal with any of it with the state of mind that I was in?"

Karen sighed, knowing that he was only trying to get her to help him.

"Donald, you and Joanna are married, and there is no chance of divorce. If you want to keep your position in Hawk Real Estate Co., Ltd, the best way is to co-opt with the Bella Family. You need to treat Joanna with respect and take your mind off of Eddie. If you don’t, it will only add resistance to your power, and you may lose it! Eddie is married, and she loves her husband. "I love her more than Stuart! She will choose me!" said Donald as he laughed wildly.

Karen looked at his smile, and suddenly she started to tremble," Donald, you have gone insane!"

Eddie left the L.N. building in a hurry because she had an important audition and also because of her embarrassment. Yolanda, one of the most famous online writers, became famous with the book Dynasty Elegy." It was her first film adaptation.

The book was about a secretary’s daughter, Sally Yale. After she was forced into the castle as a mistress, she survived the imperial power in the palace and eventually ascended to the throne and became the queen. Sally Yale suffered countless betrayals and separations in the process.
