Chapter 226: Chapter 226: Bad Temper
What did she say? How much is it? Jason thought he misheard her. He stayed on the sofa. His penetrating gaze prowled over the woman’s face and pounced on her eyes, "What did you say?"
The woman was so drunk that she couldn’t even speak clearly. She stuttered, "You are so good looking, I want to...buy...buy you for the night. I have money... I finally got a promotion. I am officially the editor-in-chief."
Since she was so drunk, Jason could easily take advantage of the situation. He turned to size her up. The woman wore a business suit that revealed a sexy white shirt inside her jacket.
He had seen many women in business suits, but all of them were extremely plain. However, the woman in front of him was surprisingly sexy. Her white shirt was tight against her breasts, and she wore a hip-length wrap skirt tied to her waist. frёewebnoѵēl.com
It fit her like a second skin, outlining every curve, dip, and nook of her body. Jason thought to himself, "This woman is either too drunk or too slutty to be wearing this in a bar."
The woman noticed that Jason was quiet. She leaned towards him confidingly and snuggled up to Jason and put her arms around his neck. The woman spoke in a low voice, "Don’t be scared I really do have money... you are so handsome. I like you..."
Jason hesitated as he merely gazed into her eyes. He noticed her long straight hair, then her delicate facial features. Even without makeup, she looked as pure as a White Calla lily.
The expression on her face was a mixture of dazed desire and amazement. She desired Jason, and he wanted the woman. Jason never expected that he would be interested in a stranger.
As he was just about to push her away, he saw the press pass around her neck. Jason started and thought to himself, "With this pass, I could get all of her personal information!"
"Scarlet Yvette... journalist?" Jason read it out softly and smiled,
"What a brainless little lamb, What kind of woman goes to a bar wearing an identification card hanging around her neck?"
Jason was never an empathetic person, but as he looked at the card, an idea came to his mind. His lips curved into a smile and said, "You want to spend the night with me? Sure."
The woman could not resist him. She gasped as her lips touched Jason’s bare skin. Then she whispered, "It’s so hot... give it to me now."
Goosebumps broke out all over his body. He could no longer control himself. Jason’s lust for her grew until it was too overpowering. His eyes deepened, he couldn’t wait any longer and took her straight to the nearest five-star hotel.
Todd, who just came out of the Night Charm Bar, was driving towards the suburban area. As he drove, he looked eagerly around. He seemed to be looking for something. Todd’s eyes seemed to show his anxiety. It wasn’t until he saw a white Cayenne by the road when he let a sigh of relief and slowed down.
Queenie was standing by the car. She shook her head, eyeing the vehicle apprehensively. Then suddenly, her heart was throbbing with excitement.
Queenie waved her hand, signaling for him to stop. Todd slowly stops his car, "Excuse me, could you please help me? There’s something wrong with my car!"
On her way home today, Queenie’s car broke down. Her phone ran out of battery, and there was no way she could call the towing company. Queenie was alone on a dark, secluded road, and she had been there for a while, so she was a bit shaken up.
The expression on her face changed immediately after the car pulled over to the side of the road. Queenie walked over to the vehicle and knocked on the window. As Todd rolled down his window, her face went pale with shock.
As soon as Queenie saw him, the smile froze on her lips, "It’s you; what are you doing here?"
Todd was looking at her with his eyebrows raised questioningly, "Oh, is there only room for you in the city, why can’t I be here?"
Queenie was not interested in talking to him; she looked at him with a cold stare and started to back away, "You can leave now."
Todd was infuriated; he drove here very to pick Queenie up. Who would have expected her to be so stubborn? Since Queenie found out it was him, she would rather stay here alone. Sometimes, he felt like shaking her.
Todd showed his disapproval by raising an eyebrow. Then he tried to control his frustrations, although he felt as though he would burst inside from the suppressed anger, Todd acted as if nothing happened. He looked at the car and asked, "So Queenie, what happened?"
Queenie stared at Todd, clenching her hands so tight that her fingernails dug into her palm. She was so annoyed that Todd had to see her like this.
"It’s none of your business," Queenie started to leave and was going to sit in her car.
Todd’s eyes turned deep and cold. He got out and grabbed her arm, "Get in the car."
"No!"
Todd’s temper had always been bad, and he talked to Queenie with anger in his voice, "Are you going to stand out here all alone for the whole night? Get in the fucking car now!"
Ignoring her reaction, Todd pushed Queenie in the car and closed the door. Then Todd got in, he stepped on the gas and drove towards the city. freēwebnovel.com
"Todd Anderson! What do you want! It’s none of your business!" How dare you force me into your car," Queenie replied hastily.
Todd laughed while driving, "Wasn’t it you who stopped my car in the first place?"
"If I had known it was you, I wouldn’t have done that."
The words were too harsh, and Todd hit the brakes. Queenie was thrown forward by his actions and nearly hit her head on the windshield.
"Todd! What are you doing!" Queenie screamed in fury.
"Queenie, why do you have to make me so angry?" Todd gazed at her so intensely. His cool features are hiding the anger in his blood. Todd kept his feelings for Queenie hidden, but every time he saw her, it was like a breath of fresh air. What should he do with her?
Seeing Todd’s eyes, her heart skipped a beat. Queenie turned her head to avoid his eyes, and her tone softened, "Todd, let go of me. I’m only an ordinary person, and I don’t want anything to do with you."
Todd was enraged by her and started to pinch her sore point, "You don’t want anything to do with me? Why didn’t you tell me that when I was your sugar daddy? Why didn’t you tell me that when I gave you resources? You know what, if I could lift you up, I would smash you down!"
Her face turned pale. Todd would trample anyone who got in his way. He always felt that Queenie was beneath his dignity. He thought she was a gold digger who was willing to sell her body for money.
Todd started the engine again without looking at Queenie. He looked ahead with rage in his eyes and said, "You don’t want anything to do with me? After all, it’s because I didn’t give you enough money. Then I’ll give you money! Fifty thousand dollars isn’t enough right? Then I will give you fifty hundred million! If I didn’t have enough money to be your sugar daddy five years ago, I have enough money to be your sugar daddy now!"
