Chapter 149: Chapter 149: You’re A Gay
Stuart saw Edie lying on the floor looking so peaceful. He stood over her looking at her tiny body while she slept. Stuart sighed almost helplessly. He didn’t know what to do with her. fгeewebnovёl.com
He reached out and gently lifted Edie to her room. Stuart’s strength was gentle, but as soon as his arm touched her back, she frowned as she slept. Keenly aware of her changes, he moved his arms up to her shoulders and avoided her back, and she slowly relieved her wrinkled face.
Stuart took Edie straight to her room, laid her gently on the bed, and took off her dress. Then he found that her shining back had bruises all over it. No wonder she frowned when he touched her back just now.
He recalled when he arrived at the warehouse. She had been pushed onto the metal shelves by Donald, which must have hit her back. Stuart’s eyes were full of pain.
Her skin was as white as snow, and the blood on her back was more severe. He could only imagine how much pain she was in. Stuart looked in the medicine cabinet and took out a medicine box. He sat down on the bed and applied it carefully with a cotton swab.
He probably touched a sore spot because Edie frowned and moaned. Her eyelashes were fluttering, and her eyes opened wearily. Stuart was concentrating on the medicine, and he did not notice that she had woken up.
She blinked, being a little confused and felt cold. She looked down and found that her dress was off. She was shocked, "Stuart, what are you doing?" She jumped out of bed, grabbed the quilt, and put it around her, and looked at Stuart with a wary face.
The image of Stuart kissing her at the Beck Mansion in the evening flashed through her mind. Now knowing he took off her clothes in spite of her wishes, she felt ashamed and humiliated. She could not help saying, "You forced a kiss on me last night; you still want to take advantage of me?" freewёbnoνel.com
Seeing her alert action and hearing her harsh words, his gentleness froze in an instant, turning into frost. He was getting very upset. He didn’t say a word. He dropped the potion on the ground and got up to leave.
Edie realized that Stuart was putting medicine on for her. She thought about her back. Realizing that she was wrong again, she panicked. She grabbed his clothes and stopped him. "Stuart, wait!"
He looked down at her, and his thin lips rose in a mocking arch. "Why are you not afraid that I may take advantage of you?"
Her face was covered with shame, and she said, "I’m sorry, I wasn’t fully awake, I didn’t see what you were doing, I wasn’t thinking straight."
"You don’t know if I will take advantage of you?" Stuart interrupted Edie directly and deliberately misinterpreted her meaning. Her words really hurt Stuart. She had to explain, "I didn’t mean it, Stuart, it’s true I said the wrong thing. I admit it, but it’s not entirely my fault. The first time we met, you know that, and you did that to me when you were at the Beck Mansion, so I automatically thought about it."
Stuart’s eyes were frozen like ice, and his thin lips were harsh and hard, "Unconscious? It seems that my image in your mind is awful."
Edie had a headache. The man was too smart to fool him in general, but he was too domineering and always ignored others’ feelings.
"No, I know you don’t like women. After all, you’re gay."
Stuart’s eyebrows rose at Edie’s words, and his face was full of shock. He suddenly raised his big hand, squeezed her chin and squinted fiercely.
"What did you call me?"
Edie reacted. She thought it was too direct, and she immediately regretted it, "Nothing, I was wrong." Her unconvincing defense failed to persuade Stuart, and his eyes were cold. "Who told you that?"
She could feel his fingers on her chin, even more firmly and told the truth, "You don’t have to hide it, Aaron told me. You’re gay, you don’t like women, and I already know about your relationship." Edie stared at Stuart, who was getting colder and colder.
"Aaron?" Asked Stuart softly, his voice was even colder than ice. She didn’t know why she was scared. She wanted to get out of bed and escape Stuart’s control, but Stuart pinned her down on the bed before she got up.
As the soft bed sank deeper into the floor, an intense uneasy feeling rose in Edie’s heart. Before she could say anything, the man on top of her spoke coldly, "You’re connected to Aaron. Who do you think I am?".
Stuart’s face was so thin when he spoke that he could not help narrowing his eyes. Stuart’s cold face was hard to see, but she could clearly and truly feel the terrible anger rolling inside of him.
She didn’t know what she said wrong and why Stuart got so angry. She had to explain, "No, It was Aaron who came to me. He was telling me the truth."
"The truth?"
Edie felt aggrieved, and her voice trembled a little from her throat, "You won’t tell me anything, then why can’t anyone tell me?"
"Edie, is your brain just a decoration? Would you rather believe others than believe me?" Stuart’s voice broke into her heart like an icy blade. She looked straight into his eyes and could see the angry feelings in his dark eyes and felt a little guilty.
She did not do anything wrong; why would she feel guilty? Under such deep eyes, why can’t she speak? Edie’s plump lips quivered, "Belief in you, about what? I don’t know what you mean."
Soon she understood. He dwelled on the scent of her, the taste, and the kiss that he gave her the night before, how he longed to touch her skin. He had to taste her one more time. He couldn’t control the urge anymore and leaned over, and his lips touched hers. He stopped, and he looked at her, and then he pulled her closer.
