Chapter 133: Chapter 133: That is so Funny

Edie was wearing an elegant dress and high-heeled shoes, so she was not able to run fast. She was only able to run a few steps before she was caught by the bodyguards. They grabbed her and took her to the man.

You should know who Baldwin Clark is. If I stomp, the whole city will shiver. There is only one person that I care about and that is Stuart Yates. Edie was getting very nervous; the expression on his face was filled with wrathful disdain. He just kept arguing with her and ridiculing her. She didn’t know how to make him believe her, "I’m really Stuart’s wife. If you don’t believe me, then go and find him and ask him for yourself."

Baldwin looked at her and insisted that this beauty standing in front of him was only saying this to save herself. So he wasn’t going to waste any more time and spoke with very little patience,

"You must not have seen Master Yates. He is a busy man, he has so much work to do and has never attended this event before. So why would he be here tonight? Now let me tell you why no one trusts you. Because people from the upper class of the city all know that, Master Yates is not interested in women at all!"

Edie really did not know what to do. The situation was not looking good for her considering force; these bodyguards’ arms were powerful. When she tried to explain who she was, all he did was argue and would not listen to her. She had no evidence to prove to him who she was, so why wouldn’t he think that she is lying?

When Stuart finds out, it will already be too late. She will be humiliated and will stop at nothing by punishing this man. Baldwin saw the despair in Edie’s eyes, and he couldn’t help but laugh hysterically.

"I will not force you. Let’s just talk about this and see if we can come to an agreement. You dirtied my clothes and you need to replace them, right? I don’t want your money. As long as you wipe it off and give me a sincere apology, I promise that I will let you go."

Edie was shocked; what was he thinking? Wasn’t this sexual harassment? He was a ruthless and arrogant man. Edie was so embarrassed that she didn’t even want to look at him. Baldwin saw the shame and embarrassment in Edie’s face, and it only made him happier. He secretly taped the two bodyguards on their shoulders and gave Edie a wink.

The two bodyguards were holding Edie’s arms and dragged her to him with great force. "Let me go! Let go..." Edie was furious. What a shameless man how could he do such a thing! If she even tried to wipe him, she definitely would never get away from him.
