Chapter 111: Chapter 111: What Do You Want?

Victoria stood very still for a moment, and it was evident from her face that she was terrified. She finally got the courage to speak, and when she turned around to look at him, he was gone. She took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief. freewebnovёl.ƈom

She felt as if she had been released from death. As the night wind came, she felt cold, rushing through her. She touched her back, and she found that she was sweating all over.

She recalled his eyes, and how they were staring at her so intensely, she still felt nervous. The feeling was so strange that she thought she could have almost died. Her fate is in his hands. Why did he have such control over her?

Victoria got more curious about Stuart and wanted to know more about him, but lost all courage to seek any answers. All it took was one stare, and that was enough to threaten her life. If he followed through, she assumed that he would kill her. freewēbnoveℓ.com

Stuart started back into Greg’s house and took out his phone to call Ivan. Ivan was working overtime and was in the office taking a break. He saw his phone lit up and seeing the name on the screen, and he stood up quickly, "Hello, Mr. CEO."

Stuart gave a simple order this time, "I have a new task for you; you must destroy a video." Then he hung up the phone. Just as Stuart was about to put his phone back into his pocket, his phone rang.

Looking at his phone, he noticed it was an unknown number. He stopped in his steps. It was his personal number, and only a few people knew what it was. He answered the call and waited to hear the voice on the other end. A man laughed in an eerie way.

"This is the first time you visit her family, and you didn’t bring him anything? That was very impolite of you. Do you not realize that you are representing the Yates?"

Stuart looked troubled by the sound of the man’s voice on the other end of the phone. He sensed something truly evil in his monotonous voice. Edie had already taken the tea set in, and Stuart did have nothing in hand.

Stuart looked around, wondering how he knew, and then suddenly he remembered something.

"But don’t worry about a thing. You may have forgotten, but I, dear brother, remembered and I have prepared a present for you. Would you like to come and get it?"

Now, not only could Stuart hear the man’s voice, but the sound of the wind and the engine of a helicopter. Stuart didn’t reply. He raised his head, and he saw a black helicopter in the sky. Because of the darkness, if he hadn’t been paying attention, he never would have never noticed.

The man who made the call was sitting in the helicopter. "What do you want?" Stuart asked, coldly, as if he was an icy mountain without any emotion.

"Bro, don’t be mean. I just heard that you have been cured. Now you can suddenly touch a woman. So, the family sent me here to do an inspection. The woman that you married may want to steal our property. I really didn’t want to leave England, for the sake of my big brother, but I had no choice, and now I am here. I hope you can work with me."

Sitting in the helicopter, the man was wearing a coquette hat. His hat was lowered, covering his face, which looked prettier than a women’s. Under the dimmed light in the helicopter, his thin lips looked sexy and tempting.

He was holding a glass of red wine, and the man shook the crystal goblet and took a sip. The lips looked more tempting than before. He licked the wine on the lips, and then he smiled, making a sound like a snake.

"This week, The White Horse chateau finally prepared a batch of the best red wine. I planned to try it with you, but you were here. I thought you might miss it and since our family sent me here. I assumed that it was fate. I am here to share the wine with you."

"I don’t like your crap. Tell me the real reason why you are here?"

Stuart’s voice was cold, and he had a frown on his face. He fixed his eyes on the helicopter hovering over his head. It was as though he was being monitored.

"Okay, then I came here not only to bring you the best red wine but also to send the latest orders from our family. If you can prove that your sexual orientation is that of a heterosexual, the family wants you to be the heir of the Yates. You will not only get the L.N. group but also all the properties in Britain. However, if you cannot prove it, then ....."

The man’s lips spread into a sly smile. He looked like a cobra hiding in the dark night, "Then, I will take over your responsibility." Hearing the man’s words, Stuart remained calmed his voice didn’t change, "How do you want me to prove it you?"

That was Stuart’s way. He never changed his expression on the face. His power and wealth may be stolen, but he kept his cool. His demeanor was one of the reasons why he was a promising applicant. It seemed that nothing could influence him.

But there was somebody that could have an impact on him. It was the man sitting in the helicopter. His brother saw the facial expression on Stuart’s face. He squinted as he zoomed in to look at a picture.

It was a picture of Edie Lara. There was an application form for admission to the European Loyal Academy. Edie filled it out during high school. She had gotten approval, but in the end, she didn’t register. Instead, she went to Cinema College.

In the picture, Edie looked young. She looked as though she was full of purity and innocence like a jasmine flower in the morning. He studied her, and his eyes lingered from her face to every feature of her body. He thought she was breathtakingly beautiful.

He kept clicking on his phone, looking from one picture to another. He found her resume, and there was a picture of her to date. Her eyes seemed more attractive. Her face looked more delicate and taking a closer look, and her smile remained pure.

In this era, there were many beautiful women, but very few that looked like her. She had not only beauty, but her temperament was gentle, which made others feel comfortable. From the moment he saw Edie, he realized something. He knew why Stuart, who kept resisting women, decided to marry this woman.

She looked like the woman that they used to know. It had been so long, Stuart never changed his taste of women. While looking at the pictures, there was nothing but a profound silence.

When he was finished, he put down his phone. He started talking to Stuart, "She looks like her. Is that why you fell in love with her?"
