A rustling of leaves and branches came from the towering woods all around.
From between the nests built of trees and branches, heads of all different shapes and sizes poked out.
There were massive Dragon Beasts that looked like a cross between a lizard and a Giant Dragon.
There were also strange birds whose bodies were covered in azure scales.
In this sun-blotting Jianmu tree, one could see not only dragons, but Soul Beasts of all kinds, resembling beasts, birds, and more.
When these residents of the forest saw Han Ning and the towering Egg Pancake standing on the grass, they couldn’t help but reveal wary expressions.

Faced with the sudden intruders, a deafening roar suddenly erupted from the lush forest.
A fierce wind blew.

A dozen or so cyan Flying Dragons, each about twenty to thirty meters long with bat-like wings, suddenly flew over from the distance and stopped before Egg Pancake.
They were shaped like lizards, with long, narrow tails covered in sharp bone spikes.
Their mouths jutted forward, filled with fine, sharp fangs. A pale green mucus dripped from between their teeth, instantly scorching a patch of grass below and sending up plumes of acrid, green smoke.
They flapped their wings, staring at Egg Pancake, who was three times their size. Deep terror filled their pupils.
But despite their fear, they did not retreat. They opened their mouths in unison as thick, dark green, spherical liquids rapidly condensed within.
