Tan You glanced at a certain lawyer sitting beside Daozhen and simply quirked her lips. "I’m not sure. I’m not you, so I can’t feel their gaze."

"That’s not what I meant," Xu Yanxi said, spelling it out. "I think you were happy because you didn’t have to face that sentimental scene yourself, and you got to watch how I’d handle it. That’s pretty mischievous of you."
Tan You neither confirmed nor denied it, and Xu Yanxi wore a look that said, ’I knew it.’ "So, Teacher Tan, you’re really something else."

A smile never left Xu Yanxi’s face. "Okay, you should all come over for dinner some time..."
After making a round of small talk, she finally reached Jin Li and Song Yuan. Jin Li linked her arm with Xu Yanxi’s. "Teacher... I don’t want you to go."
Xu Yanxi adjusted her veil. "We’re all in the same city, so it’ll be easy to see each other. I’m heading back now. You two should also come over for dinner when you have time."

Xu Yanxi shook his hand. "I’m just a math teacher, so I don’t know anything about your world and can’t be of much help to Daozhen. He’s become so outstanding now, and it’s all thanks to your guidance."
