Chapter 1094: Chapter 1094: With Me Here, Nothing Was Delayed

Of course, no one dared to disturb him. Most teachers understood Xi Siyan’s situation; he was undoubtedly a top student. Besides, Zhou Chengchen would inform the teachers about him before every class, so they naturally left him alone.

As for between classes, with Brother Chen standing guard, even those passing by would have to tread lightly. If they annoyed Brother Chen, they wouldn’t stand a chance here.

Xi Siyan, who had slept almost the entire morning, also slept through the lunch break. When he woke up, there was still half an hour before afternoon class, and a small thermos flask was placed in front of him.

The seat beside him was empty. Xi Siyan sat up straight and rubbed his brow.

"Hmm? Xi, you’re awake?"

A clear voice came from behind, and Xi Siyan looked up to see Zhou Chengchen sitting at an angle behind him, obviously already walking over with a book in hand.

"I brought chicken soup for you. You didn’t have lunch. Eat it now, it should still be warm."

Xi Siyan looked at the thermos flask in front of him, wondering where she got this from.

As he was puzzled, Zhou Chengchen stepped on the desk behind her, leaped back to her seat, and then took out a tissue to carefully wipe the desk of the student behind her.

Xi Siyan frowned, realizing this is how she has been coming and going all day?

"Why are you just standing there? Hurry up and eat. People are iron, food is medicine. If you skip a meal, your illness worsens."

Xi Siyan: "..."

Zhou Chengchen had already opened the thermos flask, releasing a faint fragrance, with a small bowl of plain porridge on top and chicken soup with a drumstick underneath.

Xi Siyan swallowed as Zhou Chengchen pushed it in front of him, her eyes gleaming with the intent "If you don’t eat, I’ll watch you till you do."

Xi Siyan swallowed again, took the small spoon from Zhou Chengchen’s hand, and began eating slowly.

Actually, neither the porridge nor the soup was particularly hot; they had been out for a while, and the thermos Zhou Chengchen bought wasn’t of great quality, especially in such cold weather.

Yet, Xi Siyan felt a strange stirring inside as if this was the tastiest meal he’d ever had.

Seeing him eat, Zhou Chengchen’s smile became even brighter: "Xi, I took notes for today’s class. You can take them home to review. The homework and tests the teacher handed out are in your drawer as well. Don’t worry, with me here, you won’t miss anything."

Xi Siyan turned his head to look at her, Adam’s apple moving, and rarely curved his lips into an impossibly faint smile: "Thank you."

His smile was incredibly faint, but it made Zhou Chengchen’s eyes light up as she stared at Xi Siyan, stunned: "Xi, you’re really good-looking."

Whether it was due to him being sick or genuinely shy, a thin layer of red spread across Xi Siyan’s face, reaching his ears, but he quickly calmed down and returned to his aloof expression.

Xi Siyan, who was in good health, after sleeping all morning and taking medicine, felt much better by the afternoon.

At dismissal, Zhou Chengchen forcefully stuffed a bunch of medicine into his backpack: "Xi, you must remember to take your medicine, or you can give me your number, and I’ll call to remind you."

Xi Siyan glanced at her, then mercilessly retorted: "Zhou Chengchen, you’re too noisy."
