Time was slowed but it was normal for Evan. In order to receive benefit from it, with the remaining baby strength he had, he punched.

The captains mouth was discharging a yellowish liquid now which Evan thought was its blood.

Seeing the message Evan tossed the Captain in the horde of defeated HalfDeads.
Evan could feel how to use this technique, it could be used by concentrating his mind on the blood and manipulate to do doing anything.
As he was close to the horde he could manipulate the blood there. However if he was out of range the manipulated blood will loose its ability and become the previous liquid again.
Evan concentrated and use the blood of 7 Half Deads to make a sword, after two failures he finally made it.
It stood up and tried to run in the opposite direction but it was not that far.
Evan used his ability to run fast and quickly came close to the Captain and as it was in range

The sword pierced through the captain’s head and turned into liquid form again.
Firstly, it tried to stand up but died eventually.
After breathing for a few minutes and relaxing himself, Evan walked to the exit only to see that all of the people he helped had been shot several times by someone.
His fingers clenched tightly as a strange silence filled his chest with anger and hate.
The victory he had just achieved with patience meant nothing now.
Strength, power, survival, all of it felt empty as he stared at the lifeless bodies killed mercilessly before him.
