Chapter 1914: Chapter 1933: The Wager

"Ha!"

Suddenly!

’Tu’ laughed, his whole demeanor gradually calming down, without any unease despite meeting the legendary ’Huang’.

"I never thought I would encounter the legendary strongest being of the Primordial era; it truly is an honor for me."

’Tu’s smile bore slight disdain, mixed with a faint scorn, causing ’Jie’ to furrow his brows slightly, yet he said nothing.

Perhaps, having been friends for many years, ’Jie’ clearly understood ’Tu’s intentions.

"Do you want me to submit to you?"

"Unfortunately, you don’t have that kind of qualification."

’Tu’ looked at Ye Xuan with a cold gaze.

"You harbor great hostility towards me, and from your eyes, I see you disdain being associated with me," Ye Xuan said calmly.

"It’s not so much hostility, but indeed I disdain associating with you, because you are nothing but a failure," ’Tu’ said coldly.

"A failure?" Ye Xuan laughed, looking at ’Tu’ as he did so, but his smile was somewhat icy.

"Aren’t you the failure?" ’Tu’ sneered sarcastically: "The Primordial era has ended, the Primordial has collapsed, even if you are astonishing beyond measure, you can only watch as both great eras perish with no means to prevent it."

"Today, ’Jie’ brought me to see you to have me follow you, but you are merely a failure; how could I possibly follow a failure?"

Faced with ’Tu’s questioning, Ye Xuan did not argue, for indeed he could not break the curse of Reincarnation and Destruction.

"I never intended for you to follow me, because from beginning to end I do not need so-called followers. Today ’Jie’ brought you here only because he did not want to see you join ’Yuan’ to oppose me."

"Because opposing me would result in nothing but death."

Ye Xuan spoke calmly, a hint of murderous intent lingering around him, obviously comprehending the intent of the Future Body, not wanting ’Tu’ to stand against him.

"Hahaha."

’Tu’ laughed wildly, as if he had heard the greatest joke ever, then when his laughter ceased, he looked at Ye Xuan with a stern expression and said: "Huang, you just happen to have lived longer, your cultivation reached the Nine Transformations Shocking Heaven, so naturally you can kill me now."

"But let me tell you, you are simply a failure. ’Yuan’s aptitude and spirit far surpass yours, even if you kill me today, ’Yuan’ will one day defeat you in the Nine Heavens, and even lead the Ancient World to break the curse of Reincarnation and Destruction."

’Tu’ roared hysterically.

"It seems you have a lot of faith in him."

Ye Xuan did not get angry, he merely looked at ’Tu’ with a touch of disdain passing through his eyes.

’Yuan’ was indeed very powerful, whether in terms of aptitude, talent, or spirit, certainly not inferior to Ye Xuan.

But as for being a failure, Ye Xuan was not considered one, because he was plotting across Eternal Time, and the so-called failure was merely laying groundwork.

The Three Lives Unification is a grand scheme, from the Desolate Ancient Era to the current Ancient Times, Ye Xuan was meticulously plotting this eternal chess game, which would extend to the future Chaotic Universe.

As for ’Yuan’, although he had great spirit and had created the top-ranked Forbidden Heavenly Technique, his cultivation claimed to be at its peak in astonishment to the world, but he ultimately could not break the curse of Reincarnation and Destruction.

If Ye Xuan were a so-called failure, then ’Yuan’ was one of them, even though he had unrivaled talent across Eternal Time and great spirit swallowing Heaven and Earth, ultimately like other astonishing beings, he could only watch as Reincarnation and Destruction descended, unable to break the curse.

Of course, Ye Xuan would not tell this to ’Tu’, because Ye Xuan saw hope in ’Tu’s eyes, hope pinned on ’Yuan’, reverent and unshakeable belief.

"I won’t kill you, you may leave."

Ye Xuan waved his hand lightly, unwilling to argue with ’Tu’, as the future will prove everything.

"Farewell."

’Tu’ cupped his hands and turned to leave with big strides, yet before taking three steps, his figure halted, then he turned his head back to look at Ye Xuan.

"Huang, although you are strong, yet you have grown old, ’Yuan’ is the hope of all eternal beings, I hope you can join me in following him, only then can we break the curse of Reincarnation and Destruction."

"Ha."

Ye Xuan smiled slightly and said: "He is merely at the cultivation level of Heavenly Defying Five Transformations, isn’t it laughable for you to ask me, someone of incredible depth, to follow him?"

In response to Ye Xuan’s sarcasm, ’Tu’ remained composed, rather asserting decisively: "Huang, you should feel it, although he currently is at Heavenly Defying Five Transformations, this is merely the beginning; he will inevitably transform to Nine Transformations Shocking Heaven, and even stronger."

"Moreover, to put it bluntly, you just happen to have lived longer, if you and ’Yuan’ were in the same era, definitely you would not be his opponent, much less would you yield beneath him."

"Do you know what it means to be invincible in the same realm?"

"’Yuan’s existence truly makes me understand what an invincible individual is."

’Tu’ displayed reverence, having witnessed ’Yuan’s might firsthand, even though standing before him was ’Huang’, a supreme being of Nine Transformations Shocking Heaven.

Yet in ’Tu’s heart, ’Yuan’ was the strongest in the Eternal Universe, and ’Huang’ could never compare to ’Yuan’.

"An invincible individual?"

Ye Xuan said disdainfully: "He’s still far from that."

With these words spoken, a silhouette appeared in Ye Xuan’s mind, existing within the Reincarnation Gate. If there was indeed an invincible being throughout eternal time, it must be this silhouette.

Within that Reincarnation Gate, ’Huang’ was utterly defeated, without even seeing the opponent’s true form, and met a dismal end at the hands of that silhouette.

’Yuan’ may be very strong, but compared with Ye Xuan he is still lacking; much less compared to the silhouette inside that gate.

"Ridiculous, if you two were to battle in the same realm, I guarantee you’d die by ’Yuan’s hand," ’Tu’ retorted coldly.

"Interesting, you indeed have somewhat angered me."

Ye Xuan’s voice turned cold; not from ’Tu’s mockery, but rather from feeling enraged by the latter’s ignorance.

"Huang, are you willing to bet with me?" ’Tu’ said coldly.

"Bet with me?"

Ye Xuan laughed, always he was the one betting with others, yet this time it was reversed, and he subtly understood ’Tu’s true intentions, though Ye Xuan did not disclose them.

"How do you want to bet?" Ye Xuan said plainly.

"Just bet on whether you can stand against ’Yuan’ in a battle of the same realm; if I lose, I’ll persuade ’Yuan’ to follow you with me, but if you lose, then you must submit to ’Yuan’, how about it?" ’Tu’ proposed.

The fox’s tail finally revealed itself!

At this moment, ’Tu’ truly expressed his purpose; his previous disdain and scorn towards Ye Xuan was merely to anger him, in order to establish this bet.
